Very gracious reception at the front desk upon arrival. Room is spotless, the bed is comfortable, the decor is tasteful. The bathroom is spacious, clean, and fitted with a great shower. I really like this hotel!

I noticed that the hotel was extremely clean and that the room was also immaculate. What particularly impressed me was the room was very well lighted. Sometimes I wonder if the low lighting in a motel is meant to hide something - this room was very well lighted. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay at Sleep Inn, St. Clairsville very much.

Long story short, I found something of a previous traveler's in the bathroom hanging on the back of the door, an object that can be interpreted as political and offensive to some. I brought it up to the front desk worker a few moments after I checked in on my way to dinner...I do not believe it is humanely possible to care any less than the man who checked me in. All I wanted was a simple apology and maybe some reassurance that the room was in fact clean. I got 0, he literally stared at me like I was from another planet, then shrugged. Not a single care in the world that a paying customer is a tad uncomfortable and displeased. Sleep Inn and suites...what are we doin?? Room was fine otherwise.
