The condo was exactly what I expected. The resort is actually really cool with all of the conveniently located restaurants and shops. Great place for golfing or going to torch lake with the boat trailer parking so close. Would definitely come back!

Communication was great and the space worked very well for us. We were in Bellaire for a family golf outing and loved that each family had their own space and could still share common spaces (kitchen, living room, etc.).

Family Holiday

My family lives out of state and/or quite a distance from me. We were able to spend an enjoyable holiday weekend together. The two cousins got to enjoy seeing each other in person rather than FaceTime. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pool many times. Highlight was renting a pontoon boat and going to Torch Lake. The rental was a perfect place for us with 3 separate bedrooms and bathrooms. I loved being able to get up and enjoy my coffee in my own room without waking the rest of the family.

Nice condo close to the summit resort

Accommodated comfortably mine and my brothers family (10 people, 5 adults). The 3 separated units gave each family privacy and the central unit with the kitchen, living and dining rooms was a cozy gathering point. The pool is a short drive in the hotel proper

A great option near Torch Lake

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our family of six. It was great having a bed for everyone. The main room had a good kitchen that helped us make some meals of our own. The view is beautiful and the location is great - just a 15 minute drive to Torch Lake. We only had two real issues with the place. The jacuzzi tub had an out of order sign. It would have been nice to know about that ahead of time. We also had a completely clogged sink in one of the bathrooms. The owner did come out to help with that which was much appreciated. All in all, we had a great time and the condo was a good home base.

Great weather

We have been coming up to Shanty Creek for years. This is the first time we rented a condo. We enjoyed are stay but noticed the need for repairs. Nails sticking up on the outdoor railing. Mold on the caulking around one of the bathtubs. Air conditioning had a hard time keeping up, not enough toilet paper, only 1 remote had working batteries. The dishwasher did not work, and 1 of the bathtubs and sinks drained very slowly, to the point you were standing in water. I do want to say they offered to come install a new dishwasher and look at the tub and sink. We declined due to not wanting the interruption. For the most part it was fine, it just for $2700 I feel like tubs should not have mold, tubs that don’t drain, and nails sticking up on the outdoor railing.

July 4th visit

Great set up for our two families. The indoor hot tub was out of order, but that wasn't a big deal. Gym/weight room use at the hotel was mentioned in the listing, but when we went to use it, we were told we couldn't. We presented the pool pass to scan. They told us that those in the condos used to be able to use the gym, but no longer. Overall clean, but could use some updates. The one shower had duct tape holding pieces together and the beds could use replaced. We seemed to roll to the middle. Rick was quick to answer my text about finding the pool pass. He was also very helpful in shipping my daughter's AirPods that we accidentally left there. We appreciate that greatly! The restaurants/lounges on site were very convenient. Kitchen was stocked. Nearby Bellaire is a cute town and Torch Lake is a must see!

Ski trip

Although there wasn’t any snow, the condo and its location are perfect. We had a very relaxing stay and with the efforts of the ski hill employees, skiing was still possible.

Great communication

This property was great! We all go to a lot of VRBO’s and the communication with Rick was on point! He got back with me in a matter of minutes and was a great help! The location was great, and lots yo do in the property. Would go there again 💯.

Comfortable setting

Nice place to spend a week away from home. Appliance’s and overall condition of condo needs updated and renovated to make it more accommodative. Had an issue with the refrigerator and one window air conditioning unit during our stay. The property manager was very available to assist with getting repairs done. Overall we had a very relaxing stay.

Beautiful Condo

This condo was great for our family ski trip! It has a beautiful view from the deck, was spacious, and well stocked! Rick was great to work with. He answered questions right away. Beds were very comfortable too! The sauna was an added bonus!!

Very accommodating for a large group.

My friends and I had such a wonderful time staying in Bellaire! The condo was very welcoming, warm and cozy, super clean, perfect size, well equipped with kitchen utensils/pots/pans. The location was perfect and very convenient to surrounding attractions. Rick was professional and so easy to work with!! We would love to go back in the future and stay here again!!
