The house was not as nice as the pictures. It was very hard to get to without a car. It required a treacherous walk up streets with no sidewalk or soft shoulder or navigating 120 cobblestone steps. It took us 10 minutes to figure out the keys. There was absolutely no human interaction with the management and they did not answer my call for assistance. The furniture is very Spartan. There is only 1 shower, the downstairs toilet does not work properly, and the worst part is that you are required to haul your trash to the Ferry stop upon check out (over 1 mile away). What a joke…I feel so ripped off to pay what I paid for this place.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Villa Gard RentalTo Whom It May Concern,We are writing to express our deep disappointment regarding our recent booking at Villa Gard. Our group consisted of three couples, all of whom are owners of holiday homes on the ocean in the Caribbean. We regularly rent out our own properties, and we would never consider presenting them to guests in the condition in which this property was offered to us.Upon arrival, it was immediately clear that the villa was not as advertised. The outdoor areas were neglected: the grass was uncut, shrubs were overgrown, and the concrete areas were mossy and in need of thorough cleaning. The “view” promised in your listing simply did not exist.More concerning was the interior. On entering, we were met with a strong musty odor that instantly triggered my asthma. A single night in that villa would have placed me in the hospital. The toilet on the first floor was not working. This made the property not only unpleasant, but uninhabitable for health and safety reasons.After a long day of traveling, we were in no condition to endure such surroundings. There was nothing you could have reasonably done in the short time of our stay to remedy the multiple issues. For these reasons, we had no choice but to vacate the villa. In hindsight, we are grateful for that decision.Would never recommend this so called ‘villa’

About one mile from Bellagio in a nice quiet and safe neighborhood. You can walk to town but there are sections of the road that doesn’t have side walks. There is only one actual shower with two others having hand held shower heads. There were only 5 bath towels and hand towels for 5 of us. Which would be fine if there was a clothes dryer. Takes all day to dry a towel outside All in all we liked the villa.

Great Vacation

We had a great time. The house was charming and very comfortable. It is convenient to restaurants coffee shops and the grocery store are all within walking distant. The house was spacious and very nice. Typical European layout. I would definitely stay here again. Como is so beautiful. Blows Hawaii away. Sorry Kapalua, Maui you are now #2 in my heart. Although Sansei Restaurant in Maui is the best restaurant in the world hands down.

Nice villa away from downtown

Nice villa as advertised. A little difficult to find as we arrived at night. Parking is not at the property, but available down the street. Be prepared to carry items a short distance. Air conditioners worked well. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Nice gazebo outside on property.

The house is very comfortable, in a very quite area of Bellagio and the view is stunning.. We absolutely loved it.
