This spot has all of the amenities as described. We found the kitchen to have plenty of space and all of the needed utensils, pans, etc. We cooked, played cards, and had a great time. The wide driveway made for easy in and out and the play space downstairs helped everyone enjoy the visit. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore the area!

Excellent home!

The home was really nice and the bonus playroom downstairs was a fun surprise for the kids. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. I loved that there was stainless steel pots and pans, not beaten up nonstick. We did have a problem with gnats in the kitchen, so it would be good to set up some fly traps. Otherwise, this was an excellent place to stay.

This home is in a perfect location for visiting New River Gorge National Park. Everything was very clean and the home is spacious, well laid out and comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. I especially appreciated the great lighting in the bathrooms.

House was beautiful would highly recommend. Felt warm and welcoming from the minute we walked in. We very much enjoyed our time there. I would have given 5 stars but when we texted 2 of the 3 emergency contacts to let them know the propane tank for the grill was empty andwe couldn't use it, I got no response.

Great Stay

This place looks exactly like the photos and in person, appears to be well taken cared of. The location was great. Just be cautious with small children. Most of the time, the drivers were going the speed limit but there were a few who just sped down the road which is directly in front of the home.

Cozy Weekend Getaway

Great ski trip!

Our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 teens) stayed here for a ski trip to Winterplace. We also did some hiking in the area. The house is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Very close to restaurants and grocery stores in Beckley. We would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home

This is at least the fourth time my sister, cousin and I have stayed here for a weekend and we always love it. It is clean, comfortable and centrally located for shopping and dining. We love it!

We would highly recommend this house to others. It was an easy location for hiking in New River Gorge. The house is clean, comfy, and well appointed. Really liked having a garage to park in during our stay. Check out was easy and trouble free. Well done!

Excellent space for a smaller group.

Four of us stayed here for 2 nights. We spent all day golfing at Glade Springs so this was just a place to shower, sleep and hang in the evenings. The house and layout was perfect for our needs and I will definitely come back if we do this golf trip again.

Fantastic!

Travellers Rest was an amazing place to stay - a real home from home. We stayed for 4 weeks over Christmas and New Year with our two children, aged 11 and 13. This property had absolutely everything we needed and more and is a perfect location. The hosts were super helpful with information before we travelled and when we were there. We would all highly recommend this place and can't wait to return!

Great location for visiting New River Gorge NP

Staying at Travelers Rest made for a perfect “home away from home.” The location was ideal for exploring most areas of New River Gorge NP. After hiking every day, it was great to come back to such a warm and comfortable home. House was super clean and very well stocked. Definitely recommend staying here.
