Our stay was short time wise. Carpets in entry way were loose and curled up against inside wall (maybe to hold door open?) Room was clean, beds were GOOD. Breakfast foods were not attended carefully, coffee pots were empty and attendant was not busy enough to have let carafe run dry.
The room was dated and it had a bad smell it was over priced.the guy at the front desk was very friendly that's about the only good perk
It was a nice place to stay ..just off the interstate.. The only drawl back was there was no pool.. Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay
The room itself was pretty good. Seemed to be clean, some scuff marks on the walls but not too bad. Very good wifi. Fridge, microwave, good selection of TV on a nice flat-screen. Only bad part was the bathtub faucet's mechanism to divert to the showerhead didn't seal properly, so the shower didn't have very good pressure. I'd guess 30% of the water still came out of the faucet. The public areas are somewhat dirty. In the breakfast area, the juice machine didn't work, the waffle machine's timer didn't start. Carpet in hallway worn, with holes showing through in places. It's possible they were doing a renovation and the rooms were first, but I didn't get that feeling. Overall, it did the job, but just that. Not a great experience, but not a terrible one either.
This place is nasty, bugs in room. Bfast is waffle or cereal only no other hot option. Will never stay at super 8 again. Cheaper options in the hotel industry that provide better services and quality!
The price was exceedingly affordable. Front office staff very friendly. Room was clean and basic. Baby cried all night and morning. Breakfast just coffee, cereal, pre-packaged pastries and fruit.
Everything was great. Only problem was when we asked for more waffle mix the front desk clerk stated it would take too long to make and breakfast was over at 9am which when I asked it was 8:40am.
The hotel was okay. I was a little hesitant to stay at first because the furniture in the lobby was really dirty. But our room was clean and we had no problems. Breakfast was pretty much non existent there so we had to buy that elsewhere.
I needed a stopping point going through Texas and this hotel was easy off & easy on for HWY 10. The staff was great and the room was adequate.
The room we were assigned to was not an ADA room. We were told they did not have one. This room was a regular room that they put handicap rails in the bathroom. There was barely enough room for my wife to get through the entry way on her motorized scooter. The shower did not have a shower bench and the motel did not have a shower chair. We were told the manager was out of town and eventually told he would not be back until Monday after we were gone. Our check out time was before 11 on Sunday morning. On Saturday night my wife put the office chair against the bathtub and I put her legs over the tub so i could wash them for her. The guy at the desk said she could not do that but she did. It was the only way she could take a "shower" and feel clean. The sponge bath from the sink using the same office chair did not make her feel clean enough. There was not enough room for her to get her scooter into the bathroom. The guy at the front desk on Sunday morning said they were inspected recently and they passed. My wife told him the manager may have paid the inspector but they probably passed only for no mold, no insects, and not damaged to the building. They did not pass inspection for having an ADA room or an authentic handicap room. A stander by said he agreed with me. There was a man, a woman and what appeared to be a handicap child, perhaps a young adult child. They were the only other people by the front desk. The mattress was comfortable but the fitted sheet was not. It felt like I was sleeping on salt. I slept on top of the top sheet. We would not recommend this motel to anyone who is handicap or disabled. We have stayed at many Super 8 motels and never encountered this issue. There was a sign posted that stated it was a 100% smoke free motel. However, in Trip Advisor my wife found at least two posts that stated they smelled smoke in the rooms. Someone had apparently smoked in the rooms. My wife has photos of the problems with this room.
