Excellent value for a group. Clean, affordable, breakfast was simple and affordable.
Cheap place to stay. Bed was somewhat uncomfortable. Tiny bedroom. But fairly close to train station in Bayeux and served its purpose. A/C wasn't really cold
This room seemed a little funky to me but in a good way. There were three beds; a queen, a twin, and a bunk bed. The bathroom was like on a cruise ship, very small quarters. Still I liked it. It was everything one could ask for in a budget hotel. It was a small room but on my trip I would end up staying in much smaller rooms that weren't as nice. It was about a 1/2 mile to town and to the train station. I even discovered side streets into town so as to avoid the car traffic. It was quiet when the window was closed and the fellow guests settled down for the night. I liked it.
The main reason i chose this hotel was because it was close to where my D-day tour ,was meeting near the Cathedral in the morning. When I arrived to Bayeux, I walked from the train station to the hotel which only took about 10 minutes. The rooms are very small but clean. Good for a one night stay. The hotel front desk staff doesn't speak very good English, so don't bother with too many questions. Have your phone handy to use for your wake up alarm , as there is no alarm clock or phone in the room either. They do have free WiFi. Breakfast, was toast, cereal , yogurt , juice , coffee for 5.90 euro.
