Staff was great and check-in was easy. Only complaints would be sloppy paint and maintenance issues in bathroom. But the main complaint would be several roaches went scurrying as we first entered the room. But no sign of them afterward.

This is by far the worst La Quinta ever!! While the location is great, the property itself is horrible. It has no maintenance. The lamps do not work in the room. The smoke/CO2 detector was hanging by a wire. There was no towel bar near the basin, but two gaping holes where the bar used to be. The mirror in the bathroom door was gone. The carpet in the hallway was heavily stained. The rooms (yes we had 4 people so we stayed in two rooms. Just to be clear, both of the rooms were in poor shape. All in all, if you need to stay in Baton Rouge, please avoid this hotel.

The room the hallway had an odor... The hallway smelled like urine and the the first room she tried to put us inthe bed was broken sinking in the middle and we pointed it out the clerk said that how it was made.. Then next room was just as worse.. The bed had stains all over it and sink toothpaste stain ove like someone had just used it .. So needless to say I didn't stay there i found another room that night.. i have never stayed in a hotel that was that gross. They need to be reported to the health department for shore.

Out of more than 400 room nights in hotels, some great, some OK, and some poor, this hotel and room was absolutely the worst!!!!!! Room was not clean; carpet smelled, ceiling paint and drywall areas were hanging down and moldy from water leaks; drywall above the window was also hanging badly from water leaks…lots of black mold!!!; hallway carpet badly stained and gross; breakfast was a total joke…two mini cartons of Fruit Loops yoghurt, barely lukewarm weak coffee, orange and apple juice dispenser was broken, no pastries and no fresh fruit or milk…..dining area was way too small for a hotel with this many rooms. Landscape along the building front was bare dirt with a few white rocks. Will never stay in a Wyndom branded hotel because they obviously do not conduct property checks. This property was definitely franchised.

The staff was miserable to speak to. When we brought the rooms condition to her attention and she told us "you won't find another room tonight because of the game so idk what you want me to do". The room had very visible black mold in it and the bathroom. The shower curtain rod was hanging off of the wall. The AC tubing and wiring was hanging from the ceiling. The wallpaper/wall was peeling and hanging down due to condensation near the AC unit. It smelled of mold and cigarettes. We left and are trying to get a refund because it was so awful.

Both, room was horrible, hotel is ran down and looks to be severely out of its prime. The ceiling looked to about to be falling in from a leek upstairs. We saw two roaches in the corner. We didn’t unpack or set down our bags we just loaded back up and left. I really appreciate expedias help with getting my money returned. Mr mark was a big help

Terrible hotel, they don’t change their sheets

I booked this hotel on October 18-19 for a family trip, I have stayed in La Quinta before and never have a issue, but this specific location was very dirty, they have a room that stinks so bad I couldn’t even step inside, I went to the front desk and requested another room and they did but the sheets were dirty with hairs and dust and thrash on the floor I took some pictures and show it to the front desk guy ask for a refund but since I book from a third party they told me to contact them, and when they contact the hotels the hotel denied a refund. I don’t know how they won’t approve my refund if I show them proof of the dirty sheets and floors…. So do yourselves a favor and don’t book with them!!
