Amazing House

Came in town for a softball tournament, had 8 people in the house. Everyone fit comfortably! Highlysuggest this house to anyone going to Baton Rouge area!

Christmas in Baton Rouge

Spent Christmas with family. House was as advertised. Nice location wonderful stay. Christmas decorations are a nice touch and made for a wonderful visit. Communication with host was great. Would stay again.

Beautiful house in the heart of it all

This is a beautifully decorated home in a quiet neighborhood centrally located near lots of restaurants, shopping and sights. The rooms are a nice size and comfortably accommodated our family. One small complaint is that the master bathtub is beautiful but taking a shower gets water all over the floor. Would gladly stay there again

Beautiful property; loved it and would stay again!

This property was a great place for our 3 couple party to hang out and spend some quality time together. Everyone was comfortable in their rooms (the mattresses were comfortable and the ceiling fans in each room were much appreciated). The bathrooms had plenty of towels and toilet paper, air freshner etc.) We did breakfast and coffee daily at the house. The coffee bar at the house was well stocked with a variety of coffee. There were also sweetners, coffee syrups and some of those shelf stable creamers availble. There was plenty of utensils and dishware to make simple meals. The full size refrigerator was spotless and had lots of room to hold food items and beverages. We sat out on the furniture out in the car port area a couple of nights to chat. This is NO reflection on the property, but the ladies in the group got bitten up by some sort of bug that was NOT a mosquito. My bites had a red blister type of presentation and have taken over a week to heal up. I put this in the review only as a warning to someone who might be tempted to sit outside to re-think that thought and enjoy the beautiful living room instead! We could not figure out how to turn the light and fan on under the carport where the outdoor seating is located. If you have mobility issues, the bathroom next to the master bedroom is cute but not for you. The tub/shower combo is for the agile only! We did not have an issue but if this is a consideration for you be advised. We loved the gated drive!

Weekend Getaway

Perfect location in quiet neighborhood. Vintage decor with modern amenities. Outdoor patio area great for morning coffee but yardman must blow all the grass towards patio furniture. Grass clippings all on furnishings. Could be a little cleaner. Toilet close to master was dirty. Check out was earlier than most. Better if it was at 11am instead of 10. Host very attentive. Overall great stay.

Wonderful stay

The house is as advertised with a king bed, a queen bed, and a daybed with a trundle. The trundle would be most appropriate for a small child. The living room couch can also be used as a daybed. The house is decorated nicely and the attention to details is apparent in every room - plush towels, nice bedding, coffee K cups, and even a few chocolates. The neighborhood was very quiet and seemed safe. We would have appreciated a scrub brush or something similar for the kitchen but other than that, everything we needed was available. Highly recommend.

Excellent house to stay in! Just a few issues that I addressed with the owner and they replied although nothing could be done while we were there. We made the best of a broken bed and my son in law fixed the cabinet door that was hanging off cause it was a hazard. Overall it was great! 😊

One of the best VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in!

Me and seven friends came down for a conference and absolutely loved the house! I sent the link to multiple people that wanted to book this house again! It is super pretty and in a great location! We had no issues with the neighborhood, and the traffic in the area wasn’t bad either. The host was really great about answering any questions that we had, and even sent some random text just to check up on us! I will definitely book this house again when I come back down here! I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Beautiful Home!

I brought our family to stay at this beautiful home for a wedding. Had 6 adults stay here, and the home was perfect for our needs! It was very clean, nicely appointed, beautifully decorated, and in close proximity to great restaurants. Definitely looking forward to your next visit to Baton Rouge.

Spotless clean, updated, beautifully decorated, felt like home, cozy, welcoming, and it was effortless to check in and out with clear instructions. I would rate Kelsey as a 10 in her response to questions, professionalism, and kindness to customers. We stayed in the home for several nights while in town for my son's wedding. Outstanding property and enjoyable rental experience

This delightful home was a joy to stay in for six days. It is clean, comfortably furnished and well provisioned. Communication throughout the whole process was exceptional. We experienced no issues with anything at the property. Quiet, pleasant neighborhood and conveniently located to the hospital location that we were visiting. Christmas Visit

Our Christmas visit in this Old Goodwood home was perfect. Our hostess went the extra mile and had the house decorated for Christmas, and even allowed my sister to leave us a welcome basket. The location was great- close to shopping and easy access to Interstate 10 & 12. The property was clean and space was as advertised. I appreciated the additional storage available in the kitchen and bedrooms so that clutter was minimized. Nice kitchen accessories and baby accommodations also. This was so much nicer than staying in a hotel room or with family members. My mom and sisters, nieces and cousins, were all able to come by for visits and a cup of coffee. I will definitely choose this property when I visit Baton Rouge with my daughter and grandbaby.

Great cottage in the heart of Baton Rouge

We stayed in this precious home during a home renovation. The house is very clean and comfortable. The location is great! The owners were quick to get a problem fixed at check in. Communication with owner was easy. We will definitely be staying again or having out of town guests utilize this great home.

Beyond Perfect

From the amazing communication from the owner , to the immaculate decor and cleanliness of the home, this space is ideal, and I will definitely be retuning. We came to visit my daughter at LSU, and brought my elderly parents , as well as my younger kids, and the space was perfect to Accommodate all age groups. There was luxurious bedding, plenty of towels and toiletries, a perfect little coffee bar with sweet treats , and much more. Book this home! You won’t be disappointed. We will be back most definitely. -
