Esta hermosa casa victoriana es perfecta para una gran reunión de familiares o amigos, ya que cuenta con 5 dormitorios y 5 baños, con TV en cada habitación, mucho espacio y espacio de almacenamiento y un amplio estacionamiento con capacidad para hasta 3 autos. Todo lo que Bath tiene para ofrecer está a pocos minutos a pie, no podría ser más fácil.

Con vistas a un jardín delantero muy plantado, la sala de estar tiene un gran sofá de cuero en forma de "L" y un sofá doble adicional junto a una gran chimenea decorativa victoriana. Hay un televisor grande con un reproductor de DVD y CD con base para I-pod.

El comedor tiene capacidad para 10 personas y tiene vistas a un patio plantado. Al lado está la cocina, que está bien equipada con porcelana y cristalería. Hay una placa eléctrica y doble horno, microondas, lavavajillas y nevera grande y congelador por separado. Hay una habitación doble de terracota con TV y un amplio baño con bañera (con ducha), lavabo y WC. Por último, en esta planta hay una habitación doble azul con cuadros con TV y al otro lado del pasillo hay un baño con bañera pequeña (con ducha eléctrica), lavabo y WC.

En el segundo piso es una habitación doble verde con cama doble (4'6 "), TV y un baño debajo del alero. Esto tiene un baño (con ducha), un lavabo y WC. Por último, hay una habitación doble azul marino con una cama doble (4'6 "), TV y un baño con bañera (con ducha), lavabo y WC.

Hay estacionamiento designado para hasta 3 autos en la parte posterior de la propiedad y el estacionamiento de la calle Charlotte al lado para autos adicionales. Como alternativa, las estaciones de tren o autobús de Bath Spa están a solo 15 minutos a pie.

Lovely house

Really lovely property, only slight complaint lots of mould on the window in the double bedroom on the first floor, and the internet was dreadful, otherwise we had an amazing stay , brilliant house for us all and great location.

Wonderful location

The home was well equipped with everything we needed. It’s in a wonderful location to see everything in bath. Very walkable city from this location. I would absolutely stay again. We had a group of 7 and had more than enough room. Easily could’ve slept 3 more in beds. Loads of restrooms and showers, which was wonderful!

Loads of space good location

We really enjoyed our few days here. There is room for multiple families so we were able to give everyone a bedroom and a bathroom of their own. Pubs, restaurants, sainsburys and all the tourist stuff is very easy to walk to so you could use this place without a car.

Great location for a city visit

We had a lovely stay at Marmaduke House. The property was very clean with plenty of space and rooms for a very comfortable stay. There was a lovely welcome pack for us which had thoughtfully been left in the fridge. The location is very central so walking into the centre of Bath was easy and quick. Would have been helpful if the property had a few more kitchen bits such as clingfilm, foil & dishwasher tablets. Overall totally recommend this a great place for a group of friends or family to stay.

The location is wonderful. The house is well stocked. We had trouble with the heat. The instructions were for a different thermostat and we were cold. The instructions called for us to turn off all the radiators, we would have needed to move furniture and beds to do that. I think better instructions would have helped.

Large house to accommodate large family in a great location on Bath

Nice large house to accommodate our family of 10 with nearly everything we needed. Great location in central Bath that was within walking distance of most attractions. Clothes washer and drier worked great for those needing them. The clean up prior to our arrival could have been a bit better and it would have been nice to have been provided a dish washing sponge and some paper towels in the kitchen. However, the kitchen had everything else we needed for food prep and storage in 2 refrigerators. Bedrooms were well appointed with en-suite bathrooms in all but one of the 5 bedrooms. One problem with check in was the key provided in the key safe did not work (broken key) which required us to wait for staff to arrive and let us in. Could have been easily avoided if key had actually been checked in the door to ensure it worked.

3 storey town house

A few minor points very noisy road made worse because heating was on and we couldn't turn it down so windows were open all the time (instructions to increase heat but not turn it down). Also middle floor bedrooms sometimes didn't have hot water for shower or bath.

Fantastic House / Location / Very Comfortable

Very comfortable stay. Excellent location. Having 3 car park spaces was an added bonus along with 4 of the double rooms with en-suite - this house is a home from home - I would highly recommend it. Excellent location

We walked into a clean, well presented and well stocked property - home from home with a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and wine, so no need for immediate shopping . Two of our party took a bus from the railway station but walked back easily having found our way round during our stay. The rest of us drove following the directions given, plenty of parking at the rear. Delightful space to sit and eat and relax outside - the good weather was a bonus! As was 5 bathrooms and an additional toilet downstairs. Easy walk to the Roman Baths and other attractions plus plenty of eating places within a 5 minute walk. The Scallop Shell fish and chip restaurant is a 2 minute walk away and serves simple fresh fish, immaculately cooked with excellent wines. Don’t mistake it for a normal fish and chip shop! We were a party of 6 ladies, in our seventies, meeting for our annual get together and all agreed that it was one of our best venues.

Period Charm with Great Facilities

A great property with tons of space and great facilities for a few days break in beautiful Bath . Just 5-10 minutes walk from the centre this location is perfect for small groups or even larger ones if restrictions allow (we were a family of 4 adults). Clean and with all the facilities you could need we did not use the car once in the five days we were there. Excellent.
