My family of 5 (my wife and I with 3 kids) plus my 75/76 year old mom and dad spent the week at this true log cabin. First off, we have stayed at quite a few VRBO’s all over the place. In fact, we have family that live right off Bass Lake so we come up yearly for family reunions. This place is the cleanest most beautiful rental I’ve ever stayed in. Most VRBO’s look nice but when you look closely they are beat up, dirty, neglected, and just feel like the owners are turning and burning. This cabin is absolutely cared for and is spectacular in EVERY way. There were no crumbs on the ground or wrappers under the cushions. Even if you look behind the couch, spotless. The decking off the side is overlooking a babbling brook that is amazing to listen to and drink your morning coffee. Andy and Marcie left us plenty of propane to work the overhead and table heaters since we spent a lot of time enjoying out there. The kids loved playing out back as well in nature. Oh, there was endless firewood. The kitchen is very stocked with everything you could ever need and there are two dish washers which was nice. We regrettably had to give the amazing master to my parents so that they could avoid the stairs once we made our way into the cabin but there was another nice smaller master downstairs with a mini kitchen so it was just fine. The upstairs rooms and loft were super cozy as well. Great location in a very quiet upper class tree nestled area. ZERO COMPLAINTS!! DO IT!!

Marcie is the most responsive host! The property was immaculate, and every attention to detail was made to make the cabin welcoming. The cabin is as beautiful as the listing photos show. Fully stocked with everything needed to make this cabin a luxury home away from home. Worked perfectly for our Yosemite vacation, and we hope to visit again someday and enjoy all that Bass Lake has to offer in the summer months. Thank you for sharing your beautiful log home with us! We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, it is stunning.

I have to say that this was one of my favorite stays I have had to date. This cabin is absolutely astonishing, and the little details throughout were just impeccable. It was quiet, comfortable, well stocked with everything you need and perfectly located for either a quick walk to the lake or a short drive to the local town. And the communication with the host was as top notch as can be, not only was she informative but wanted to make sure our stay was inviting and pleasant. I highly recommend…I know I want to go back someday! Thank you Marcie for the hospitality:)

Wonderful Cabin at Bass Lake

We had a wonderful time at Bass Lake and the Cozy Cabin was more than perfect. The exterior of the log cabin is stunning but nothing compared to the interior. What a beautiful property. Even comes with a soothing babbling Creek you can hear right off the main deck. Marcie was a wonderful host and checked up on us to make sure everything was perfect. We highly recommend this property for those who wish to visit Bass Lake.

Great stay at the cozy cabin

Check in was easy with no hassles. The owners are quick to reply and always helpful. The cabin is beautiful, clean, and well stocked with more than just the basics. The beds are comfortable. The outside spaces are amazing - the propane fireplace and heater made for awesome evenings.

Family Vacation

Absolutely Awesome Cozy Cabin! The cabin is spotless, well stocked with everything you might need, the beds are comfortable, and the different levels are solid so you don't hear someone talking. My husband and I and our two adult sons all hated to leave.

Cozy Cabin

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cozy cabin. From bird watching in rocking chairs on the deck, to taking walks in the peaceful neighborhood, and playing games by the fireplace, this cabin is homey and so relaxing. It is located 30 minutes from Yosemites South entrance, so a day trip was really easy. There is also fun hikes nearby the cabin. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing Cabin in Bass Lake

The lovely cabin was on a quiet street surrounded by trees. The deck was perfect for relaxing and listening to birds. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is nicely stocked with anything you could need. Very clean and comfortable!

Amazing cabin

We loved the cabin. It's beautiful and you have a great view of the forest from the side deck. We saw humming birds, woodpeckers and mountain Jays from our seats at the fire pit. The house is very well appointed which makes for an easy stay. We also enjoyed being so close to Bass Lake. All around great experience!

Best Cabin in Yosemite Area

This cabin was a home run for my family of 6. First the owners of the cabin are extremely engaged and easy to contact. They contacted me early with instructions to make check in a breeze and answered my every question quickly. The home itself is gorgeous and VERY clean. You can see they care about the home by the attention to details inside the cabin. They have enough decorations to make it feel quint and homey without overdoing it. Particularly the light over the dinner tale is quite impressive. The bedroom layout was nice with primarily one bedroom per floor so each group could unwind in the evening hours with a little privacy. The group staying in the Master Bathroom was quite happy as the shower there is quite nice. The outdoor space was nice with a fire pit and seating area. It was nice to sit there in the morning before adventuring and sip some coffee. There is wildlife in the area that we were able to see from the balcony at times. The home is near all you need (grocery stores, restaurants, gas, etc.). It was part of a very nice neighborhood, but still felt remote as I never heard any neighbors. It is located in Bass Lake, and about 30 minutes from Yosemite entrance. getting to and from the park is quite easy (so long as you go early as lines backed up in the morning). My only regret is I should of stayed a few more days and explored the lake. I will be staying here again and recommending to my friends. What a wonderful experience.

Beyond beautiful luxury cabin - Thank you!!!!

We had an incredible, relaxing & luxurious stay at this cozy, Bass Lake Cabin. We spent one entire day hiking & exploring nearby trails and another in Yosemite. Wonderful trip & no detail left out from making this our favorite VRBO experience. Great job, owners!

Amazing Cabin

We had a great stay at this special log cabin over Thanksgiving. The home was perfect and the attention to detail was incredible. Marcie was an incredible host and it felt like having a concierge at a luxury resort. The bedrooms were all tastefully appointed and the beds were comfortable. Everything was spotless including the exterior rug and cushions on the deck furniture. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had two of everything we needed. The outdoor area off the deck felt like you were in a private forest with the creek below. I felt bad having to ask Marcie to adjust the heat but the fireplace kept us nice and cozy . Overall highly recommend.

Fantastic!!!

The property was beautiful. Lots of space on both sides of the home so it was secluded in the trees. The lay out of the home was perfect for both girls to have a room, my in laws and my husband and I. The home literally had everything you need to enjoy a 10 course meal if needed. We loved the detail in each of the rooms. Bathrooms and living spaces. Even the towels smelled amazing. All the beds were very comfortable as well. We already started planning our next family adventure to Bass Lake in the bear house. Thank you Marcie for being such a wonderful host.

Perfect with family!

My family had the best stay! We have been going to Bass Lake for decades and often rent the same homes yearly. This year we tried this home and it was absolutely perfect for all of our needs! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and plenty of parking! Thank you!

Wonderful cabin in bass lake!

We brought our 3 young children and their grandparents to bass lake and had a delightful stay at Marcie’s cabin. Everything was great - cabin was pristine, had all the supplies we needed, and Marcie was great about staying in touch. The AC on the second floor was apparently having issues when we arrived — but we would never have known except Marcie keeping us up to date on the status of all the maintenance she invisibly arranged in the midst of some fairly extreme heat (so I’m sure her ac guy had no shortage of calls!). Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

My family and I had a such a wonderful time. The house/cabin was very welcoming, luxury, warm and cozy, most important super-super clean. Perfect size. Well equipped with kitchen utensils, pots,pans. The location was amazing. The owner was professional and easy to work with. I definitely recommend to book this cabin.

A perfect, cozy cabin

We had a wonderful time staying at Bass Lake. Marcie was wonderful and very accommodating. She made sure that we had everything that we needed to be comfortable. The property is a short drive from Yosemite. We also visited Sequoia and Kings Canyon but they are bit further away (about 2-3 hours). The beds were comfortable and the cabin is beautiful. It has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. If we ever return to Yosemite, we will definitely come back

My family had the best trip! The house was spotless and check-in was so easy. We absolutely loved the beautiful scenery, it was so peaceful. The house has all the comforts of home! Marcella keeps the property stocked so we had everything we needed. My family had a very relaxing vacation and we will definitely be booking this property again in the future.
