I booked this hotel since was willing to pay a little more to make sure I had good internet for working and personal reasons. There was no single moment during my stay (4 days) when WiFi worked at least fairly OK. I complaints in several fairly and there was no solution at all. For this category of hotel this shouldn't happen nowadays. The rest of the hotel was very good, room, cleanness, service, breakfast, swimming pool. Be aware the town charges (through the hotels) a daily fee for an ecological fee. I was not informed of this before arriving (around Arg$45 / day)

The hotel is not what it is billed to be....The rooms are dirty and not furnished with even the basics. The towels are thread bare. The staff is unresponsive. My bathroom floor was covered in hair. This was the low point of the trip.

The room was nice, albeit all caulking in the bathroom are not clean. The WiFi in room is frustrating - very weak and  could not use properly. WiFi in lobby may be better. There is no A/C. With the window open the air is OK, but noisy from the street. The location is good, about 1 km from the center.

we stayed there for 2 nights. the hotel has a very big lobby and the staff in the reception and at the restaurant was helpful. the breakfast was good but the dinner although the portion was very big it was not so tasty and the beef was bit hard to eat. The room had a small bathroom and the mattress of the bed was too bad, difficult to sleep, it looked like it was too used, did not like it at all. The space of the room was OK and although my room was single i had a big double bed but did not enjoy it due to the bad mattress. Regarding the location it is 10 min approx from the main pedestrian street of the city, easy to walk.

Very sorry to write it, but I do not recommend this hotel, The Hotel is completally dark and the smell is not good! My wife and me were disappointed since check in to check out! Bariloche is an amazing city, we plan to return there, but in another hotel. The pictures from the rooms are not according to reality,

A long hair in the bathtub and an empty bottle in garbage bin when we step in... strongly doubt if anyone clean the room before we check in. Very noisy that people running on the aisle, baby crying... I don't feel like staying in a 4 star hotel but sleeping on the street. WiFi is unbelievably slow & unstable; sound proof between rooms is weak. Staff in front desk is very friendly but not very helpful. Room is small; no shower gel only a small soap; all facilities are old including bed mattress. Cannot rate more than two stars.

This hotel is OLD and they forgot to update it about 30 years ago. We had been to Bariloche years ago, and stayed at another hotel. Since this time it was our wedding anniversary, we were told by a tour operator that this is a top 5 hotel in Bariloche and recommended to stay there to celebrate. Worst advice and decision ever. We were pressured into booking the hotel quickly, and provided with the pictures from their website, and these pictures just don't reflect reality. We paid more, and stayed at a hotel that is old, noisy, gross food (we ate at the restaurant, and the food took over 40 min to arrive, was cold, and tasted like microwave pizza). The rooms are old and dated, linen has holes, the toilet seats are chipped off, walls are gross, mold on windows, and the staff hands out wrong information, not helpful at all. We went to dinner at Cassis, and were told it was super far away, over 40 min drive, and we needed to leave as soon as possible to walk around the area to enjoy the view. It's winter. We got to the restaurant in under 10 minutes, and were left there to wander next to the lake with nothing to do since the restaurant wasn't open yet. Cold, no taxis, a mess... yes the view is nice, but it's nice from inside the restaurant. To top it off, I injured myself snowboarding and asked for ice for my knees... they charged for the ice. We went to the spa, asked if we could get the ice, and the receptionist basically barked at us saying it should have been requested in our room (and didn't ask for it). Horrible service. There's no transfer to the mountain (yet the hotel we stayed at the previous time did have), and it's noisy. You can hear the neighbors, the street. The mattress is just awful. Springs!!! My husband moved, I almost flew from the bed... seriously, worst hotel ever. The reason it gets 1 star (and not zero), is because of the manager, which is the only good thing this hotel has. Lucas - he was nice, courteous, and offered us an upgrade when we said we simply didn't want to stay, and wanted our money back. He did what he could, but the hotel just plain sucks. Don't go there. There are plenty of newer, nicer hotels in Bariloche. Panamericano has stayed in the past.

Nice, professional style, good for business. Comfortable bed, quiet room. I have enjoyed staying there. The breakfast was served in a small room. The room and the bathroom were nice. The best: having a table beside the window to enjoy the magnificent view.

1) Free Internet only in the lobby is not acceptable these days. We could have paid extra to have Wifi in the room, but good hotels do not do this to guests. The front desk staff and ownership refused to alter their policy for our group that had 9 rooms booked. 2) No Air Conditioning in the rooms. Windows could be opened for fresh air and cooling, but the traffic noise and barking dogs in the middle of the night made this not a god choice. 3) A very tired hotel that looks good on the surface. Much work needs to be done to really upgrade the facility. Not one of our 9 rooms was deemed acceptable by the group.

We stayed at Panamericano hotel last January. We had a great stay. We ended up reserving the room with since the front desk clerk could not match the lower rate that was offering. Internet is good in the lobby but not in the rooms. Breakfast is the best value of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. Very clean. Great location.
