We wanted to be close (like walking distance close) to Plaza Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia, Ramblas and the University area, but in a quieter less touristy spot, and Emma provided exactly that. Rooms are smallish, but super comfortable, nice bathroom amenities. Metro station is a block away, as is bus stop to places farther away. Even though it was amid renovations we didn't notice and it was super quiet at night. Lots of places to eat and grab a cup of coffee around. Take note, because breakfast, if not included, is 20 euro, super expensive compared to what you can get in the neighborhood.

We enjoyed the stay. The rooms are very clean and nice, the location of the hotel is very good - you can easily reach all tourist destinations, everything is on walking distance. The only drawback we noticed is that it is a bit noisy - the doors of neightbour rooms were shut very loud and this we were heating too often and too loud. Also the isolation towards city noise was not good. The staff is very friendly and there is a wardrobe for the luggage after checking out for free.

€100 a night for room and breakfast for 2 in an excellent location for a hotel like this is something other hotels should strive for. Clean, well equipped, decent breakfast (served unto noon) friendly staff. A most enjoyable stay.

Stayed here last week for 5 nights on a business trip. Had an early arrival on Sunday morning and reception staff were professional and expedient. Cheerfully got me all checked in and took care of my case so I could spend the day rambling Barcelona. Upon my return I was pleasantly surprised when staff remembered me immediately by name and proceeded to get my bag and room key. I was also impressed that both morning and evening staff always welcomed me by name as I arrived and left the hotel. They provided very helpful information about the hotel and surroundings. My room was very comfortable and as part of the upgrades my matters was updated during my stay. On Valentine's Day they even left a lovely note and more chocolates on the bed. I should also point out there were chocolates on the bed at check in also. I never had breakfast so can't comment on that. I found the cost to be extremely reasonable and very very competitive. If i was to point out a negative, it would be.that there was no power point at the desk for my laptop. Overall I will return and recommend the hotel to anyone. You can't go wrong with the facilities, friendly staff, location and cost.

My friend and i stayed here and found it to be a fun, safe stay with amazing staff on the desk! We enjoyed the buffet breakfast (lovely fresh scrambled eggs and even better with the spicy tabasco sauce). Many options including hot breakfast items, cereal, yoghurt (i think it was even lactose free and it was soooo good!), fresh fruit, coffee from a coffee machine, pastries and bread. The location felt safe and it was a hop, skip and a jump to the cafes right outside (lots of tapas!) The inside of the room was all bright and beautiful.Very comfy beds and nice shower/beauty products. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Supermarket right next door and across the road. About a 7 min walk to the metro station and a few blocks from the main street near Plaza Catalunya. I recommend this place as it was comfortable, safe, convenient and affordable. Best to learn how to say the street name - it wasn't "Care-rer Roz ello". It's more like "ca rare (roll those r's!) Roz ay oh"! lol. Or write it down for taxi drivers #makeyourlifeeasier haha

We arrived about 10.30pm to discover we had received a free upgrade, room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Shower was good size with limitless hot water. Maid service was excellent . Reception staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again !!

Take the likes of Premier Inn, Ibis and Motel One put them up a notch and you get Room Mate Emma. A contemporary hotel with a neon buzzy theme with quirks and trendy lighting, a great surprise for the price/category of hotel that's in a great location surrounded by lots of local amenities. The rooms have a plethora of goodies that you'd expect in a 5 star boutique hotel with a well stocked minibar and snack station and every toiletry you could think of. The only fault I could give it is the pipped music in all the rooms, as nice as that is, when you come in after a late night it's a nightmare working out how to turn it off! There's no sign in the room to tell you so beware... Finally the staff are fantastic, really helpful and welcoming and for us being in a big group of pre-Christmas revellers their welcome and support was much appreciated, I'd stay again for sure,

Nice clean room. Quiet, but with window to patio. Very tasty breakfast. Very good location close to two Gaudies buildings and metro. Free luggage store for the last day. Reception available 24/7. Able to print tickets at reception. Good price performance ratio.

The hotel is located very close do one of Gaudi's buildings, just 1 minute from the underground station. Very convenient location. Room was clean and comfortable, big enough, equipped with the kettle, which I appreciate a lot. Good breakfasts with my loved jambon and fresf melones. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. The colours (pink) and design of some elements (modern lamps) - not really in my taste, but - with this price - I can stand it :-) I can really recommend this hotel and definitely I will stay there coming to Barcelona next time

Ideally located a few meters from the metro and Pompeu Fabra. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are tidy, modern and quiet. Reception area is very modest, but this not a problem if you are travelling for business and have your meetings outside. I would go back there if prices remain the same.
