Great location right near the metro and lots of bus stops and some great dining and sightseeing options, like Arc de Triomf and the park. The balcony overlooks a very authentic courtyard. Place was quiet. Very communicative host. The building had an elevator which is a big plus! Overall, we liked our stay. I really appreciated the washing machine!! The negatives were: 1) the place wasn't very clean; 2) the property only provided a welcome kit which is like a few drops of shampoo, one tiny soap , and one toilet paper roll. I did not enjoy shopping for toiletries in the muds of my trip. The property was missing hair drier; 3) one of the bedrooms ( 2 separate beds) is a dungeon without a window. AC only blows into the living room and is worthless as doesn't do anything at night.

Appartement très propre. Très bien situé. Mais attention pas de bruits après 22 heures. Appartement pas bien isolé. Aussi un jeu de société un soir nous a valu la visite d'un voisin. Et le lendemain un message du propriétaire. Mais malgré tout je recommande

Great location but meh accommodations

We stayed here for our family trip to Spain-7 days- 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The location was amazing and the building was beautiful. The accommodations were less than mediocre. The listing pictures show a bright and well taken care of space. Our apartment was dark and not taken care of that well. The bathroom was especially dark and dank. The plastic shower stall constantly backed up and flooded the bathroom floor. Maintenance came 3 times to unclog the drain , but it was never successful. We chose this place for the location and because it was in the middle price range with others we looked at. Honestly it was not worth the hefty price we paid.

Wonderful modern, large, bright apartment in city center

This place was perfect for our needs. Wonderful location right by Plaça Catalunya. Check-in was easy using their remote locking system. A cool antique lift takes you to the third floor. The apartment is quite spacious for Barcelona. The kitchen had everything we needed. The terrace has a nice view of the courtyard. The only thing to keep in mind is that the A/C is only in the living room, so you might need to keep the bedroom doors open at night if you want them to stay cool. Communication was easy and the administrators were very kind. Highly recommended overall.

Great location of no frills apartment

Apartment is located near lots of restaurants, grocery, and public transportation. The apartment itself was spotless clean. We requested months in advance a crib for our baby which never arrived. We also requested an early check-in which was granted but the virtual keys (through the phone) were not set up for us to get in. Luckily, someone from the building let us into the lobby but we had to wait over an hour for this to be resolved. Also, be prepared with your own shampoo and soap. For a family of 4 staying 5 nights, one very small container of each were provided. Overall, this could be a great place to stay if you just need a place to stay and do not require any additional service/requests. Three bedrooms, a balcony to the courtyard, and a very quiet apartment were nice to have.

Très bon emplacement

Appartement très bien situé proche bus et taxi. L’arrivée avec le code virtuel est très bien géré. Nous avons eu l’ensemble dès informations nécessaires c’était parfait. Nous étions un couple avec 2 enfants et la dimension de l’appartement est parfaite. La propreté rien à dire. Vue sur une grande cour très calme. Nous avons beaucoup utilisé les bus en bas de l’immeuble où une rue derrière mais à pieds nous ne sommes pas trop loin des différents quartiers. Je recommande pour une famille : appartement très bien situé dans quartier agreable.

Family Friendly / Better than the Photos!

We loved our stay & highly recommend! A great spot for our family of 5 (3 teens). Beds were comfortable (& as described), kitchen was very useful, and AC in living room was great (it circulated to bedrooms for comfortable sleeping). We were surprised by how nice the balcony was – the photo does not do it justice! It’s a good size (while narrow) w/a view of a courtyard (not just of the wall in the photo). The elevator was greatly appreciated too as it was 5 flights up. The washer was nice to have (no dryer but everything dried so fast so not an issue). Wifi worked well. We were grateful to be able to check in a little bit early as this was our 1st stop (jet lag). Communication with The Collection was excellent – I had several questions that they responded to very quickly. It was easy to do the “pre-check in” with passports and payment ahead of time. The “virtual key” was explained well – we had not used anything like that before and were able to figure it out from the explanation they sent ahead of time. There was an actual key in the place that we could have used too. The location was central to everything we wanted to do – we visited La Sagrada Familia, Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Park Guell, Camp Nou, the Arc d’ Triomphe, and La Barceloneta. We also took a flamenco dancing class not too far away at Escuela de Flamenco Lucero Cardenas. We walked a ton, used the subway and a couple taxis. There is a bakery (baked goods, drinks, beers) with an outdoor seating area next door.

Loved our time in Barcelona

Highly recommend this location and property for those wanting a balance between location to several of the sites and those wanting to feel like they are a part of a neighborhood or community. It felt wonderful to travel the nearby streets to see landmarks and only just a few steps away was authentic cuisine or a neighborhood gathering enjoying food and good spirits. Our only wish? We could have stayed a little longer. Apartment amenities not mentioned: lovely location near a super market; easy access to a bank/atm and our absolute favorite: a cafe to live, laugh and learn all about the community. Thank you for an authentic stay in Barcelona!
