We had a lovely time in Barcelona and the location was excellent. The VRBO was very clean and the beds comfortable. We really appreciated the kitchen for breakfast-making and 2 bathrooms. Would definitely stay there again on a future visit to Barcelona.

This is the second time we have stayed in this lovely two bedroom apartment located right around the corner from the famous La Sagrada Familia. Everything about this apartment is perfect and very centrally located. We will be back again someday.

This property was perfect for our 5 night visit to Barcelona with another couple. The apartment is fairly small but has two very comfortable bedrooms and two immaculate bathrooms. The very clean kitchen is well equipped for making breakfast and an occasional lunch. The best thing about the apartment is the awesome location less than two blocks from Sagrada Familia. We loved walking by the beautiful basilica as we came and went each day. There are many grocery stores, tapa restaurants, coffee shops etc on this quiet street. Host Marcel is very responsive and friendly.

This is probably one of my favorite apartments I’ve stayed in. It is in an absolutely perfect location. So close to a metro station, many great restaurants, and of course Sagrada Família. Marcel took care of everything we needed. It was great to have the washing machine. We appreciated all of the little details that Marcel and the owners have thought of.

Marcel and Julie were great hosts! We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in their VRBO with an amazing view of the Sagrada Familia from the master suite. One of our hosts was waiting for us on arrival and we were then shown around. We had plenty of luggage so the elevator was really appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a kettle and coffee machine. There are two bedrooms with good-sized comfortable beds, lots of hanging and drawer storage. The bathrooms are modern with great showers and plenty of towels were provided. The living room and dining area were comfortable and the whole place has great WiFi signal.  There are several really good grocery stores, coffee shop and tons of Tapas restaurants all walkable within minutes. Marcel provided us with some of his restaurant recommendations and we absolutely loved the two we tried. Overall it’s a great location and gave us a feeling of being integrated into the daily life of living in Barcelona which we wouldn’t have experienced in a hotel. We look forward to returning at some point soon. Thank you Marcel and Julie!

Great location around the corner from Sagrada Familia (with views of it out the master bedroom window). Host was fantastic. He greeted us at the check in and walked us through the entire apartment. He was super responsive throughout the stay. There was also a taxi stand a short walk around the corner if needed although most things to see and places to eat were within a 30-40 minute walk at most. Highly recommended.

My husband and I returned from Barcelona after a 5-night stay. What an amazing and beautiful city! The location of this apartment was perfect for us. We felt extremely safe and it was very quiet at night. It’s close to great restaurants and cafes, and within walking distance to a lot of the areas we wanted to visit; Metro stations nearby as well. Marcel met us upon arrival to help us get settled, which was appreciated. He offered wonderful restaurant suggestions (some our best meals) and set up transportation for our return to the airport. The apartment itself was spacious and clean, set up with all the essentials needed, and comfortable after long days of sightseeing. Enjoyed our stay!

wonderful !! Marcel was so kind & was very quick to answer any questions we had. His place was quiet even tho the street was busy. Being so close to a super mercado was also a huge bonus as were the views of La Sagrada Familia. He really helped my comfort level re accessing gluten free food, assuring me there would be no problem finding items to buy and he was so right! The apartment had everything we needed. Have already recommended Marcels place to a few friends. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

This was my wife’s and my first time visiting Spain, so we weren’t entirely sure where the best place to stay in Barcelona would be. After staying here in May, I can confidently say this was the perfect location. It’s close to everything — shops, restaurants, and major attractions.Marcel was an incredible host. He greeted us upon arrival, gave us the keys, walked us through the property, and even shared great restaurant recommendations and local tips.I highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again!

Blissful Flat

Perfect location. Convenient to metro and transit. Less than one city block from the grocery. Tapas and cafes on every block. Our host was extremely courteous and welcomed us so graciously that we felt as though we were new residents to the neighborhood. Situated close enough to the sagrada familia for access but distant enough to be spared the constant grind of flocks of tourists. We give our experience a ten plus!

Great apartment, outstanding communication!

The apartment is very extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds and bedding were excellent. Kitchen is well stocked. Marcel met us and explained the access, apartment features and provided some excellent recommendations for restaurants. There is an elevator, A/C and although the two bedrooms overlook a playground, it's closed at night so it's very quite (although you can hear some music from the very nearby Sagrada Familia. The location can feel touristy especially around the corner near the Sagrada, but it is well located near several metro stops and other sights are easy to access and certainly not as crowded as being in the Latin Quarter or near Gracia. Highly recommend!
