This is a great hotel with a good location to Visit all of Barcelona from We stayed for 2 night in the middle of September to take my grandson to the football stadium for his Birthday The hotel is centrally located so is a great place to discover Barcelona from the hope on hope off bus stops a few hundred metres away so make get around very easy The hotel has very good sized rooms & a good buffet breakfast The hotel is locate near a major shopping centre with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance Would defiantly stay again
We (a family of three) stayed here for one night over half term. The hotel has a fantastic location and it was easy to find. The reception was all clean, stylish and modern lines which impressed us. The reception staff were helpful and checked us in quickly. The room which although perfectly adequate for a 3*, was a bit dated and the corridors/pool area clearly needed a bit of TLC. The overriding theme was the lack of light throughout the hotel (apart from in the room which had a large window and balcony) which was a bit odd! The corridors were in complete darkness. Breakfast however was excellent- it had a huge selection and was very tasty.
The hotel is not the worst I've ever been to, but it was too expensive for such a poor accommodation. The rooms are extremely small and the A/C was not working. On the plus side the location is good, there is a Metro station very close an a mall right in front, in that mall there is a awesome rooftop with nice views.
The location was good (depending on where you’ll be spending most of your time). We were able to walk to places like the beach, Ramblas etc, but it took us about 30 min. However, the subway station is really close to the hotel and the connections were great. We used it a lot to go sightseeing and such. The hotel it self was mediocre but the rooms were clean and the roof top terrace was really nice. It is true that the rooms are poorly sound proofed, and you can literally hear people talking in the next room. Breakfast was like we would have expected in a 3-star city hotell. Coffee, a variety of jucie and yogurt, some bread and some cheese/meet. Eggs were available as well. However, the breakfast area was extremely boring with no natural lighting what so ever. Overall, we feel like it was worth the money we paid for it!
Needed to be in Barcelona for a conference. Proces where sky high so my colleague found us a well located yet affordable hotel. Nothing really negative about the hotel other than that the staff really has no real interest in the guest. Rooms a bit old, bit OK. Bathroom functional and clean, location is really great. Breakfast OK, typical tourist but very cheap....... not a place to take your wife for a weekend, but to sleep well and spend not to much very ok.
The hotel is located very close to everything. If you are up to a 22 minute walk you can even reach La Rambla and the core of the beautiful city. We had some air conditioner problems at first, but the hotel let us change the room and front-desk was very friendly and helpful. Lovely rooftop pool!! :)
This hotel is very central - just next to the Arenas shopping centre, a big supermarket and plenty or cafes and restaurants. So a great location! The hotel itself is a 'no frills hotel' . It is clean and has all you need but is a little tired. If you plan to be out most of the time and need a simple place to sleep - this is perfect. The pool is tiny and the roof terrace needs refreshing - but its a lovely place to sit and chill.
This hotel is awful and staggeringly overpriced. Do not stay here. We were misled by the creative photography, particularly the pictures of the pool and communal areas, into booking a prepaid room for our one night in Barcelona. Big mistake. This is at best a dingy youth hostel. As you'll see in my pictures, the whole place is run down and actually pretty dirty. Most horrifyingly, one of the pillowcases is filthy (the marks in the pictures are on both sides -- shudder). We requested a double room but have been given a twin, but that's the least of our problems with it. Stained walls, a groaning, wheezing air con unit, curtains that ought to be white but are nearly yellow, a radio system that appears to have been brand new c. 1973. Honestly, this place looks like a shabby motel in a bad movie. We assume there is a pool somewhere but no one has told us how to find it, and frankly we're no longer certain that we want to. It's too late for us: save yourselves and book elsewhere.
The hotel was in a superb location, close to everything, had the metro right there and buses on our doorstep!! The hotel room itself was big enough for the both of us, had a balcony and a lovely well equipped bathroom! I have given it 5 stars but the only downside was 2/3 nights we had a loud room next door to us, the first night was a hen party and it was the furniture moving that made it so loud and disruptive and on the last night we had these boys come back at 3am and start shouting and making so much noise we had to contact reception. I am quite tolerable and can deal with noise but it was too much especially as we were given a quiet room. That being said it was probably bad luck and I would stay here again next time I'm in town because it was great service, the reception were always there to help, answer any questions we had and generally were lovely! The pool table in the foyer was a good choice too, had a few games of pool there to end a night!
AMAZING cleaning service. The cleaning staff need to be honoured as we were overwhelmed by the spotless room we would return to (and we're not the cleanest bunch of 19 year olds). They would even fold up our clothes and pile them in the cupboards!.. Great and welcoming hotel staff who all speak very good English! Love from England
