Hotel ILUNION Auditori

Recent guest reviews

This hotel is clean and nice. It is a high rise that offers a lot of nice services, including a pool on the roof. The Metro is three blocks away for easy access around Barcelona. The staff was great.

Hotel location is hard to find. No directional signs around the hotel area. Room (5'th floor) was stuffed. Couldn't breath without opening the window which is very cold during winter season (end of December). Very noisy, thin walls let you hear the other rooms. Could well hear the street noises/voices too. Bed was not comfortable. Couldn't sleep the whole night, woke up few times. Very disappointing. Not recommended. No value for your money! Be aware!

We had a car, but everything was far. Would recommend staying closer to the downtown, Barceloneta Beach area. No room service available

This was a very nice clean and not very expensive hotel close to the city park and public transport. Rooms were a little small but comfortable

This hotel is located near the north bus terminal which is convenient if you are going towards Girona, etc. There is also a metro station about 7 minutes away. The street is quiet and there are shops such as super markets, drug stores and small cafes nearby. If you go sightseeing/to the beach and want to come back to the hotel before dinner, it is not so convenient. The room needed some maintenance work. The breakfast buffet was plentiful but did not change from day to day.

great location and a good safe feeling walking at night

It was a good option to stay, shamefully the city was a bit crowded because 4 cruises arrived on the same day so it was a busy day for tours. it was a sunday and many stores and museums do not open.

I really enjoyed the hotel. Good price, close to many important locations, and a five-minute walk from a metro station. Staff very kind and attentive.

Staff was very friendly, the hotel is near to many sights, most of which I reached on foot. Everything was as it should. For his value it is for sure worth my recommendation!

Pretty generic place, bed was comfortable and free bottled water was nice. Nice bathroom. Wifi was spotty at best. Pool was size of a large hot tub, pretty dumpy, and only 2 chairs up there without any umbrellas (like those shown on website). Staff was nice, pretty accomodating, Priced fairly well.

Good location 5-10 min walk from Arc de Triomf metro station. Big clean room. Free water in the fridge. Lots of cheap places to eat and buy groceries around the hotel.

everything we looking for at this hotel is perfect ,staff is very helpful, location is good,i will stay here again.

It is a brand new hotel with all the confort: wi fi, gym, the pool is not a pool is too small but it was enough for my 5 year old, the room was confortable and clean lines.

I walked daily to the beach in Barcelonetta which only took 20 mins. Cabs are cheap for nightlife. The hotel was clean, service was great. There was a nice pool on the roof top, which could have used more pool furniture. Access from the airport was simple; the Blue Aerobus for 5 euros takes you to Placa Cataluna (the city square), from there I paid 1.45 euro and took the metro (cataluna station across street from stop) and rode two stops to Arc de triomfe, 4 min walk from there. The area was clean, safe, and loads of fun. Supermarket across street was nice to load up on beers and wine.

This hotel is in a great location-far enough away from the noise and chaos of Las Ramblas to be quiet, but close to the metro and just a short walk to many great areas. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable and the showers were great. The staff was friendly and spoke english. Definitely get the breakfast included with the package when booking, as it is very good and saves a lot of time in the morning, but it is expensive to buy it if not included. They even leave complimentary water bottles in the fridge and replenish them daily, which is a nice perk. All in all, a great place to stay!

Location is close to the Arc de Triumf metro station! Close to other tourist attractions as well. It also within walking distance to the best club in Barcelona, Razzmatazz. Front desk was very nice as well. Would definitely go back!

My wife and I were looking for a long weekend stay after a previous week traveling throughout Spain. We found the Confortel to be an excellent fit to what we were looking for in terms of modern rooms, service, internet. Therefore high marks from a lodging only standpoint. The hotel is quite limited in food capabilities and primarily offers a breakfast buffet that some may find pricey for what you get (we did not use). You can get around easily via the Metro and walking from the hotel, but it is not a great location to get to/from the Barcelona airport. Decision becomes whether to try to connect via Metra and the many station stairs hauling luggage to the City Center for an airport shuttle bus connect, or just go with a somewhat expensive direct taxi ride to the airport(approx 35 - 40 euro. Location is OK but not great to get to find any decent restaurants and waterfront dining.

Early check in time is helpful for early flights. Staff is consistently friendly and helpful.

nice, modern hotel, good location.

Staff not too well informed and not friendly
