Very nice place to be, I enjoyed during my staying in this hotel. The location is good, not so far from the center if you use a public transport. The employees are very kind and open for help anytime :)
Very good place to stay during business trip. Stayed for 3 days during CPHI fair in 2016. Nothing luxury but fair price. Breakfast was not bad, but nothing extraordinary. You should understand that you need to go at least 5-10 minutes to metro station or use a taxi to get to the central part of the city.
This hotel is quite away from town centre but was easily get a taxi as transport, quite cheap, not expensive at all. It has a nice view of the mountainous surroundings and near to shopping mall. Highly recommend for business people .
We stayed in this hotel as our flight was cancelled and Vueling airline paid for it. Just as well because I felt that we should have been paid to stay there. The hotel is on a very busy roundabout. 30 minutes after we entered the small room the lights went and as the bathroom had no window we could not use it. Then the electricity went. Informed reception and also that the air conditioning was not working. I explained that I had sleep apnea and needed to use a CPAP machine in order not to stop breathing when I slept. They 'repaired' it without apologising. We left the hotel for a couple of hours and shortly after we returned the electricity went again. I was furious as I was afraid as I now knew that I could not rely on having power for my machine. I again went to reception.(Could not call down as phone not working). They said they would fix it again but I told the manager that I would sit in reception all night as I was not willing to possibly die in that room. He eventually decided to change our room. The next room at least had electricity and working lights and air con. - you know those luxuries that some hotels provide. Forget about eating here too. Dinner and breakfast consisted on bread for me. The rest was inedible as far as I was concerned. If you want to experience third world amenities book this hotel.
I feel awkward writing a negative review of a hotel that saved me, as I had a problem with my reservation in another hotel and the Campanile had a room for me on a night when every other hotel was fully booked. I paid more than top dollar for that room, but at least didn't sleep on the street!! Anyway, the hotel is a practical 3-stars, in an industrial area between Barcelona and the airport. The staff were friendly, the breakfast acceptable, the room simple but functional and the bed was very comfortable. However, my poor rating comes from two aspects: the room was poorly cleaned and the wifi a through-back to the worse examples of 10 years ago. From pubic hairs in the shower and accumulated dirt on other surfaces of the bathroom, to nose droppings on the skirt around the bed, it was clear that whoever cleaned that room really didn't try to clean as such. And when this happens, we don't want to touch any surface at all, even if it looks clean. We become uncomfortable. As for the wifi, the connectivity was simpl terrible. So much so that I preferred switching to mobile data on roaming... at least I could check emails! If these two issues were resolved, my rating would be much higher, as everything else was positive.
Really good hotel. Perfect potion to "use" the neighbours and arrive on Barclona's best site really faster. Optimum staff. The only and unique problem was the magnetic key (code missed 5 time in 7 days) but it's a relly small problem.
We booked Campanile because we had an early flight the next morning. We landed fairly late and arrived around 8pm to find the shopping center next door close to closing down with other markets a bit of a walk away. But hotel is right around the corner (5-10 minute drive) and cost us about 20 euro. The hotel itself is nice and even has a restaurant and meeting center. Check-in staff were friendly and spoke english and it was a bit quiet. Staff at the restaurant seemed a bit slow and it took us some time before we got our food. It was ok, nothing to write home about. Breakfast was plentiful and had a wide option for buffet. Room was clean and tidy but it was extremely hot. The air conditioner, although turned up high was still not adequate. We had to leave the window opened which made for loud sleep as all rooms on our side face not only a busy road and roundabout but the highway. Shower is extremely slippery when wet, would advise them to look into changing this concept. Also provided a coffee kettle and gave us extra coffee when we asked for it. All in all, good place to crash for the night, but anything more than that, you can find better elsewhere.
As a business traveler, the lack of iron and iron board, as well as the very bad air conditioning made my stay not as I would've liked, needed to have a good night sleep and get my clothes ready for meetings in the morning.
Nice hotel. Very clean an very confortable bed. Not to near the traffic station and metro station but affordable rates to airport. Very near a nice and cozy Mall where you can find almost everything .
It is a place just to sleep. There is not restaurant besides the name of the hotel. Very bad internet service. There is Not room service. The metro stations is too far. Tha area where is locate is and industrial one.
