My girlfriend and I really loved it. It was incredibly convenient for us since they had so many great amenities in the actual hotel (restaurants, lounge, a fantastic pool etc.) as well as many great restaurants that you could walk to. The service was great, they paid attention to detail and were very informative. Jackie was the guy we normally went to when we wanted to know about the nightlife in Bangkok, he was very informative and polite. I could go on and on about how great our stay was, from how close we were to the metro station - you can walk to the metro station(MTS and MRT) - to great service, everything was amazing.

I stayed here for five days during my first visit to Thailand and I have no regrets. Pre-arrival communications via email to hotel staff were timely and clear. Upon arrival our room was not ready but the staff took care of our luggage as we relaxed at Woobar taking in local beers until our room was ready. A package that was couriered to the hotel prior to our arrival was presented immediately. The room was hip and fun and had a good layout. The only concerns that I could possibly have is that two people sharing the room may find it awkward if they're not intimates because the bathroom door, toilet door, and shower door are all smoked glass sliding doors and, although they're somewhat mirrored, you can see what's happening on the other side even when closed. The other issue was that the music at the venue just across from the hotel main entrance (see picture) can be loud and carries into the rooms on that side of the hotel. This was not a problem for us since we're night people and we enjoyed the music. One may want to check with the hotel to determine if the venue is hosting musical events during your stay and ask for a room away from it. The room was very comfortable and there was more than enough room for two of us to unwind and there was enough counter space in the bathroom to spread out our bath items, but a double vanity would have been nice. The shower water pressure was good and the rainfall shower head was a nice touch. I cannot compliment the staff enough. Everyone was so focused on ensuring that we had an excellent stay. From doormen to housekeeping staff, front-desk team to concierge, and Woobar servers to The Kitchen Table staff, everyone made us feel like they were genuinely happy to have us there and that they cared for us. The Woobar is a great place to sit for a few drinks and snack on nibbly things and experience the pretty awesome DJs. We opted for the breakfast option and found the morning international breakfast buffet varied and really, really tasty. The hotel location was great. Easy access to the Skytrain, a short walk to Chao Phraya water taxis, and walking distance to many restaurants (try nearby Blue Elephant Restaurant but make reservations a few days ahead of time). I would definitely stay again during my next Bangkok visit.

Will start by saying I am clearly not the demographic this hotel is seeking. As was made blatantly clear to me via all media everywhere throughout this hotel during my stay, this hotel seeks anorexic, mid-twenty year olds who will spontaneously break into dance at their hotel. I am merely, and unfortunately it seems, a discerning, very seasoned global traveler with senior tier loyalty levels at 2 major chains, including Platinum at SPG, with at least 100 nights in hotel nights each year for the last 6-8 years. Not at all the type of person they want to see here. To the hotel. Yes, quirky, but that is supposed to be its thing. Tell you what, instead of a pair of sequined oversized red boxing gloves on my bed, how about a door to the washroom, instead of a sliding curtain that doesn’t close all the way! Speaking of the washroom worth noting that the sinks are ergonomically designed to ensure that any flow from above a trickle will get some spray on will see what I mean if you say here. The hundreds of what appear to be tuk-tuk lights at the elevators are rather over the top, for me anyway. I am sure the aforementioned demographic this hotel seeks loves them. On the elevators, the welcome carpet therein is carefully changed 3 times daily so you are able to discern whether it is morning, afternoon or evening….fantastic. Breakfast was a mob riot. To the hotels defense, it was CNY, and the staff were coping as best they could. However the food was extremely ordinary. Not bad, just overall dull and plain, although a fairly wide selection. Staff at the property were very friendly and helpful (bit of a hit and miss at the concierge, but mostly good), and for the most part did a good job of regurgitating the canned speeches they were made to learn. Taxi…painful. Takes SOOOO long to get a cab. However, if you want to use the hotel car, it will only cost you 10 – 15x what a taxi would. Shameful really, and not a viable option. On a positive, a BTS station is right next door, so that’s helpful. No exec lounge, at all. So instead, I got a one free drink coupon for the W lounge or whatever goofy name they call it here...yeah. Glad the Platinum status means so much here. Gym was OK, but given the demographic catered too, I thought it would be much better (staff there is very attentive though, on a positive, when not ogling the folks at the pool directly attached). I could go on, but wont, have wasted enough time here as it is. On the positive, the bed was really comfortable, and I only had to stay here 3 nights. Have been to BKK something like 20 times, first time at this property, and the last. In fact, no need to stay at any of these properties. Interesting that the gall at the front desk did not ask how my stay was. Some may really like this chain, I do not.

This hotel is one of the best hotel in Bangkok i have stayed. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The amenities in the hotel is also very nice. This hotel is just next to a BTS station which make travel very convenient. However this hotel is far from Sukhumvit but in the middle of Asiatique and Siam Paragon.

Amazing breakfast and staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. My absolute favourite place to stay in Bangkok when I get the chance. They have a well-equipped gym as well, including a nice boxing bag and gloves. Perfect for travelers wanting to stay fit during their trip.

Our stay at the W was great. The staff went out of their way to assist us with any query or request. The breakfast in the mornings was very tasty with lots of variety. The room was super cool, with great views and stylish, comfortable furnishings. Winnie was a stand out for us.

Excellent customer service. Breakfast spread was good and everyone was very courteous. Location wise was really ideal as well. Close to BTS, TOPS supermarket as well as a 24hrs mcdonalds nearby if you are feeling peckish at night

The people who work in the hotel are very friendly! They have the best breakfast buffet! The room is very clean! When we need help, the people who work in hotel always help you right away! The design of the swimming pool is cool! I have the good time to stay in this hotel!

A few years ago, my wife and I visited W for afternoon tea. The beautiful setting, the delicious food and the superb service had us enchanted. When we were deciding where to get married, we looked at several other hotels but none had the beauty, intimacy and charm we found at W. Our event manager, Mark (Saran Laohasrivichit), met with us several times to help us plan the wedding. He was fantastic! Friendly, professional, patient, helpful and happy to go the extra mile. He really went above and beyond. We wanted to thank him personally after the wedding. When we asked for him at reception, they told us it was his day off... He came in just to see us! He and all the staff at W took great care of us. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and the whole experience was first class. Now where should we celebrate our anniversary?...W!
