i like this style of hotel. it is very amazing and new experience for me. Moreover at the House of Sathorn zone is kind of old Thai style house, it is very comfortable for afternoon tea. For the room decoration is very different from other hotels, it makes me WOW, so fashionable

First of all, my wife and I are deeply W fans and we're trying to stick to W hotels as much as we can wherever we're traveling to. This passion for W experience took us to W Taipei, W Hong Kong, W Barcelona, W Bangkok and W Paris. Being W passionate, this has set a high level of expectations for the W experience and we're very keen to appraise when it worth it and point out what's wrong when it is necessary We stayed in W Bangkok multiple times and our last stay was a pure example of the inconsistency of the customer service in W Bangkok. Our previous stay was absolutely marvelous however this time was a long sequence of disappointment. It started with a totally wrong attitude from a staff at WHATEVER desk. The staff who helped us with our luggage went to WHATEVER asking whether there was any SPG Gold/Platinum check-in counter and the response from the WHATEVER desk was "well, whatever..." in Thai language. He literally meant something like "I don't care". Unfortunately for him, we are able to speak and understand Thai language. GOOD JOB here for our first impression after few steps in your hotel! During the check-in, no one from the Welcome Desk whether Agent, Manager or Insiders deemed necessary to come to see my wife who was carrying our 4 months old infant to propose a seat or a drink during the time I was handling the check-in. We traveled for 12 hours and had an 1h car transfer to the hotel from the airport and we were exhausted by the trip. NO ONE, absolutely NO ONE seemed to be providing any care or attention to the guests who were accompanied with infants! What kind of customer focus or service or care is it? Lastly, as a SPG Platinum member, I've got in touch 3-4 days ahead our arrival date with the Reservation Desk to make sure all the arrangements I've asked were taken into account. While I've been ensured that everything possible was made to respond to my requests (including baby cot), what a astonishing disappointment to see at check-in that NOTHING was arranged accordingly... No SPG recognition, the check-in agent was kind of surprised to hear about my requests etc.. Is that a lack of training? Anyway, as a Loyal SPG guest and loyal W Bangkok hotel guest, I'd expect to that there is a follow-up on a guest requests especially when the said guest is doing the effort to get in touch with you days ahead his arrival date... Our last experience with you had a lot of shortfalls and disappointments. All of this could have been avoided with a stronger and more consistent customer service. Our last experience was not representative of the high level of standards you used to provide to us during our previous stays. However, this lack of consistency in your customer service is the reason why I'm taking the time to write down this unpleasant (for me and for you) review... Please take actions here, it'd be a pity to see this premium venue declining...

Since there were thousands of hotel in Bangkok, it was difficult to choose our accommodation. Finally, we chose W Hotel, which was a great and correct choice. The staff were very nice and helpful, always served us with a warm greetings. Although it wasn’t located next to the shopping mall, the hotel’s location was convenient for its proximity to BTS station in only a few minutes’ walk. Also it provided visitor a corner of silence. The purpose of this trip was to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend. The room was beautifully decorated with balloons and served with cupcakes upon our arrival. Thank you very much for the romantic arrangement by the hotel. We definitely had a wonderful holiday here :)

Cool place to hangout out. Located CBD of Sathorn, Bangkok. The level of customer service is awesome and look out for nice "Thai" tea in breakfast. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Watchout if you are sharing the room -- There tiolet do not come with a door

The hotel is in a great location and you have some wonderful staff who are constantly trying to satisfied their guests needs and wants. The whatever whenever concierge was helpful when asking for tips and the staff accommodating taxis for you are also very friendly and tell the drivers where to bring you. However three things I would like to point out are 1. The spa music and noise. The music was not always relaxing and almost reminded one of a bar atmosphere and when people passed in front of the massage rooms one can hear everything. 2. The restaurant for lunch offers good dishes however no fresh coconut was available for 4 days in a row and when ordering a pizza margeritha we received a margerita drink.... 3. The pool needs to be fixed, one of the filters was making some noise which was very unpleasant when wanting to relax and unfortunately there was gum stuck to the floor next to the sun beds I really enjoy this hotel and would return anytime however some small things need to be improved.

As a W rookie I had an idea what to expect but until you get there you just don't know. During my 10 days in Bangkok I stayed at 3 SPG properties (Sheraton Grande, W & St Regis) along with the Marriott Queen's Park). The W is trendy, aggressive, in your face and pretty much wants to be. The room was fun and comfortable with a tablet which controlled everything, including the lights which was a bit annoying when you had to get up in the middle of the night! Breakfast was decent, the room wasn't set up great so the flow of people didn't quite work. Food was decent though and the lobby bar had some good drinks and lots of evening action. Location is OK. Just a couple of blocks to restaurants and nightlife. Probably one and done for me at the W as there are many other great places in Bangkok that are a bit more relaxing.

Three years in a row at W Bangkok, and we really enjoyed it. I was a regular at Peninsula BKK for quite a few years, then Four Seasons BKK until it closed down and now W BKK. I guess it shows W BKK must be good enough. W hotel bangkok has become our second home in Bangkok. We checked in late due to the late flight. It was 1am when we got to the hotel. In room check in was arranged and a special decoration with balloons and card for our anniversary was there waiting for us. My wife was very impressed. Thank you W and Chai for checking us in with such a nice surprise. Breakfast was good, staff were nice at the restaurant. Eating lunch at The Kitchen Table is a must for us every year, just this year the curry crab was too spicy and not as good as it used to be. Nite at The Kitchen Table was very attentive and the Russian lady there was helpful to my kids too. The concierge team was great, they tried hard to help us out. Keep it up, Miss KJ. The team is still green, but they have hearts. I believe it will be one of the best concierge team in BKK. The great service of the W extended all the way to the airport departure gate. A lady staff greeted us at the hotel car and looked after us all the way until we walked into the gate. Thank you W BKK for having us again. We will be back for sure.

True 5* hotel. Excellent service from start to finish, assistance always at hand. I had left some shirts at a previous hotel in Thailand and due to language barrier and lack of response, the W assisted with this and were super helpful. The most challenging part of deciding on a hotel in Bangkok, was which location. But the W has good transport links through the Skytrain and taxis are very cheap. 400 BAHT to the airport, 100-300 BAHT to wherever you want to go in Bangkok. We had a Spectacular room, on the 24th floor. Lovely views and a lovely room. The 24 hour room service and pool is pretty cool too.

Stayed 2 nights for my birthday celebrations, paid a premium, hence, expected much higher. Overall, only average for starwood branding. F&B service a let down over the breakfast period, breakfast selection not WOW. Service staff command for English was average, I expected a higher standard service for 5 starts rated hotel. 2 cents worth of thoughts from a hotelier.

What could you expect from a W hotel? Definitely their whatever/whenever service, even though we did not utilize it that much for this stay. The concierge truly helpful though. Breakfast so-so.. but hey, different people have different taste. Modern room, unique style with all the boxing glove and duvet. Bit far from everywhere as it located in business district.
