Spacious room, exceptionally clean. Excellent 5-star customer service by everyone we encountered. Were happy to get have some western-style options for dinner and then breakfast buffet in the morning. I did notice a slight mustiness on arrival (I’m hypersensitive). An air cleaner was offered, arrived within minutes and worked like a breeze. Staying there, I felt like no request would be too small or large for them to take care of. Great air conditioning, a must in this climate!
Very satisfied with the high standard of service the moment I stepped out of the airport transfer and stepped onto the hotel grounds-well trained staff who were very polite and knowledgeable. Checking in and out of the hotel was a Breeze. Facilities were clean with a well equipped gym and a small lap pool overlooking the city skylines. Free shuttle to the BTS station and high end shopping of Emporium and Em Quartier where there is food galore! Last shuttle at 11pm if you miss the shuttle it's about 10 mins walk from the BTS station to the hotel down Soi 24. Good size space for the studio we stayed in, all provided for including washing detergent for the washing machine and dish washing liquid for the dishwasher-well equipped kitchenette. Would love to go back to stay the next time I visit Bangkok!
Very good alternative to hotel rooms. You get more space for a comparable price. Located in Soi 24, close to Emporium. Have Tuk Tuk service. Good, spacious apartment. A bit worn though. Same goes for pool and fitness area. And the golf practice area on the top of the adjacent car park building is in a very bad shape. Good breakfast buffet though they have some problems with keeping the food warm. Bread, however, is a big disappointment. In the end we bought our own bread at the Emporium and took it to the breakfast. Friendly staff. Unfortunately they had some changes at the concierge group and some of the new concierge staff were not sufficiently trained. All in all still a good Executive Apartment but in need of some renovation and staff training.
The hotel is in excellent condition. the staff members are very nice and helpful. they speak and understand English well. I was impressed with the convenience of staying at the hotel such as: washer/dryer (stayed 13 days), living room, bedroom with lots of storage, mounted safe, timely maid service, good selection of room service items. i would like to mention staff member Pui. He was so nice and helpful with booking restaurants for me. i will be back in December (booking is already placed).
The room is very large with washer/ dryer, fridge, induction cooker hub and even a dish washer. The bathroom also has separate shower stall and long bath. TV channels are good enough with the usual suspect of movies and news. I do like the gym on the 3rd floor which is bright and spacious. The WiFi worked well throughout the hotel and didn’t need to log in repeatedly. There is a nice massage place called a few doors away which is a plus. What I didn’t quite like was the location which was at the end of Soi 24, far away from Phrom Phong BTS. Getting cabs may be slow. And even uber takes some time to get to the hotel due to traffic on the main thoroughfare. There is also a lack of local eats as the restaurants at this end are really Western, Japanese or Korean food.
Marriott is not Marriott / Worst Service and Food A Marriott is not a Marriott. Please do not stay there. I have stayed there for four nights and I only get credited for one night. By all means, I have paid for a large Suite for four nights. They don’t tell you that when you book the room..... Apparently three nights in a Marriott Executive Suite corresponds with one night in a Marriott.....you tell me...... Their lavish and arrogant excuse was just....oh sorry......but they really didn’t care, why should they, they have enough other customers.. Please avoid the Restaurant in the Hotel it is not good at all. I had once Dinner and i truly regretted it. The starter was tasteless and the Burger was one of the worst I had in a while. Service is way below Asian standards. They have told me that they have been looking for a chef for the past twelve month hence the poor quality........ Rooms are just ok, nothing more. I would never go back there again snd I cannot recommend it. In fact this was one of the worst Hotels I have ever stayed in in ASIA.
My sister and I stayed here for one night and we wish we could’ve stayed longer! We had a late flight in from Cambodia and at 1 am the receptionist who greeted us was extremely friendly and even upgraded our room after seeing how tired we were. The suite was beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the rain shower and gigantic bathroom. Everything was very much five star. We had a very good nights sleep and were very pleasantly surprised by the extensive included breakfast. The buffet included options from countries around the world and there was definitely something for everyone. When we were leaving the concierge helped us find our way to our destination and the receptionist Meen even gave us some tips for our upcoming trip to Nepal! When we’re back omg bangkok we will definitely be staying here again.
Our stay was wonderful, we enjoyed it thoroughly, very spacious and clean and very comfortable beds, the toilets were also very clean and nice, the best part of the property is the location which is very closely located to all the places for a tourist
This MEA on Soi 24 is a very laid back and quiet place, with all the attributes of a 5-star, but without the buzz of the lobby of the Marriott Marquis across Queens Park, for example. Public space is limited, but perfectly sufficient, the pool, on Level 3, is just fine for a property of this kind, and there is always a choice of loungers. Most commendable is the service quality, and we hurry to especially praise the Breakfast Team - excellent job, guys, very kind and efficient. Apropos breakfast: It's the best absolutely, in terms of both variety and quality. Rooms are large and perfectly appointed; no balconies, though. Studios are facing South or North, suites East or West. There are neighboring buildings to the South (very close) and West, slightly less nearby to the North, where however you have a largely unobstructed view only from floor 30 up (max. 34). Walking distance (750 m) to the Phrom Phong BTS station is just a trifle long, but there is a (modern) tuk-tuk running up and back minimum every half hour, which we'd recommend (and which should be advertised more). We've been very pleased to be able to stay at this hotel, and happy to commend.
We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious, elegant and clean with a nice view. Good location for shopping. Great service at the front desk. I wish we could have stayed longer!
