The hotel itself was great—I loved the staff and every other aspect of the property. Unfortunately, the host was not. When I arrived to check in, the host did not return any of my messages or calls and also failed to respond to the hotel’s attempts to reach them. I ultimately had to contact VRBO to request a refund and pay out of pocket to book another room, as this stop was already planned into my trip. I would not book with this host again, as there is a serious risk of not receiving a response upon arrival.
