The hotel was exactly as described. Relatively new, very clean and modern design. Great value for money. I just wouldn't recommend going with the buffet breakfast as when I was there, it wasn't really a buffet (choice of two breakfasts and a limited cereal/fruit spread) so I would have preferred to get breakfast elsewhere. Room was perfect though and clean. Location only 10-15 minutes walk to the On Nut BTS station.
Great Hotel with Great Helpful Friendly stuff. Rooms are large clean with good water Pressure fast Internet. With English, German, Italian, Russian, France, Indian, Japanese Channels. Rooms have also Fridge, Safe, Microwave.
Very nice Comfortable Hotel with almost Holiday Inn standards but for a unbeatable Price. Very sweet and helpfull stuff.
The Solo Express Bangkok on Sukhumvit Soi 81 falsely advertised a gym and pool on Expedia and Orbitz. I booked this hotel over others in the area because I understood it had these amenities. After arrival, and after unpacking my luggage, I soon found out these didn't exist. When I asked Kimberly, the front office manager, why these were advertised and what I am to do now, he scolded me for confronting him about it, and told me its Expedia's problem, not his or the hotel's. I work in the hotel business, and this simply isnt the case. The hotel is responsible for what is advertised on their behalf by online travel agents, regardless of who made the error. But rather than own up to this, the manager passed the blame onto me and Expedia, and was quite rude about it in front of other guests. I could have forgiven the falsely advertised amenities, but not the obnoxious attitude of the front office manager. Eventually, after I waited patiently through Kimberly's excuses, I was offered a refund. But this was hardly an option as I had no time at this stage to pack up, look for another hotel and move. There was no viable guest service recovery offered.
