We stayed at the Miramar Hotel Bangkok for three nights as a group of three friends in December. Pros: - Convenient location, close to many of the main areas in Bangkok - Clean, modern lobby - Helpful and friendly staff, in particular the man selling excursions in the reception - Large room with air conditioning and fridge - Basic toiletries provided Cons: - Slow Wi-Fi - Bathroom could do with a fresh paint job - Not the best view - Very hard and uncomfortable beds - No safe
It's a nice hotel, but to my opinion is a bit overranked (4 stars, I would give 3). The staff was very friendly, helpful and nice. The restorant in the hotel is quite nice, very tidy and quite cheap for a 4-star hotel restaurant. I have impression that staff not always understand basic English, nevertheless that does not cause any problems. Weak side of this hotel is its surroundings. The neighbourhood is not that much picturesque and sometimes looks like scary. In general, it's a good hotel located close to many temples and sites of interest.
Stayed here for around 3 nights and we were very satisfied with our stay. Staff were excellent, welcoming and useful! The room was tidy, convenient and pleasant. The hotel is also just a 100 THB tuk tuk journey to most of the key areas of Bangkok. The only negatives would be the WiFi, it didn’t work at all for us and also there is no safe in your room - only the facility to leave valuables at reception.
The hotel room was of decent size bathrooms were clean amenities like water coffee shampoo soap ect was provided. Miramar is very near to locations like The Old Siam Plaza for shopping,Wat Suthat and the Giant Swing,Wat Ratchapradit,Grand Palace,Wat Arun.you can also walk to China town Yaowarat where you can shop for bags clothes accessories at wholesale rate.Staff is good and the room gets cleaned daily. Breakfast was also filling and good variety.
We stayed here for a couple of nights. The staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Rooms were of a good size with a nice bathroom and the rooms were cleaned and new sheets on the bed each day. We paid 1928B for two nights through booking . Com which is a good price I think. Location is fairly close to the river and palace so I would recommend.
The location is very good, close to Chinatown. The room is clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi is very poor, sometimes doesn’t work at all. In the morning the cleaning staff ringing phone is bothering if you stay nearby.
I stayed here with a couple of friends on 15th dec. The rooms was large and clean. its located to lot of business area nearby. Not quiet used to taxi drivers within the reception area, something very new for me to see. Else looking at the helpful attitude of staff and comfort would recommend this place.
We stayed here for 2 nights we had breakfast included and breakfast was very nice! We booked through booking.com and got upgraded for free too! On checkin staff were very friendly and a guy helped us with our bags! The hotel is close to sit of things around Bangkok too! There were these taxi guys by reception and this guys brought us around Bangkok! We tired to book the hotel again for the next week but it was fully booked out...
in the general point of view, the stay here was nice and the staff was very helpfull. however i must say that we have found every day small cockroaches int the room, the shower facilities was not so great, and there wasn't a lot of fresh fruit in the breakfast. So for this, I wouldn't consider this a 4* hotel.
The room is huge and nice and clean which is good however it's dark with one window. The beds are harder than anything I've felt before and not comfy at all, not great when you've had flights and just want somewhere nice to sleep! Air conditioning also very very loud in room. Breakfast was okay but mainly savoury dishes, no cereal or fruit etc.
