it was my second time that i book a room in this hotel and i must say that the hotel is very nice, quiet and very clean . just 3 minutes far from China town , located in good place, the room was spacious and cleaned
Came here for 1 night after travelling from Cambodia. This hotel is very basic compared to the 4 star hotels that I have visited. Rooms are mimimal, TV won't pick up channels and that's in all 5 rooms we had. No hand towels in the bathrooms, no extra accessories either. The bedroom does not even have a safe. All the walls and doors are paper thin. At best this is a 3 star hotel. Best thing was the food, the resteraunts serve some wonderful food if you dont fancy going out. I think this hotel could do with a major revamp to make it a 4 star, but my opinion is its a 3 star.
i've been stay at Miramar Hotel Bangkok in 7 days for business and travel . it Located in central very nice for walking around And i do love breakfast and lovely staffs i've chekc in quite aerly but staff tried to help me can take room soon without charge Thanks for your helpful and i will be back in soon days
Extremely run-down hotel in dire need of a face lift. Yes the hotel is clean but everything is so worn-in it's so unpleasant. The room itself doesn't have a safe and they only provide one towel per person. We almost left and booked another hotel. Definitely wouldn't stay here again.
I m checking in 1 am and best thing is Resturant is 24 hour open , u can order anything Resturant and front desk staff is very nice. When u came in Bangkok use google map it's very easy taxi driver just 350 baht and drop a hotel
Loved my stay at Miramar all the staff apart from the lady in the restaurant couldn't do enough to please you the room 417 was huge with more than enough space and beds (2 big doubles) plenty of free water in the room, the tourist info desk were so helpful and a lovely korean lady took us out all day to the train market and floating market stopping anywhere we wanted on the way there and back for 1500 baht which was very reasonable. Food in the restaurant was reasonabley priced but not so good
Hotel rooms are ok, very clean and everything you need BUT we booked through Agoda and were not given an option to include breakfast. We couldn't find any other breakfast options within walking distance so went for the hotel buffet. 600 baht for two people NOT Worth it, probably should have been 50-60baht maximum BREAKFAST IS A RIPOFF Second problem taxi drivers do not know where the hotel is. You need a local with you to give directions, otherwise he will have to phone the hotel
The service at the hotel has been great and the buffet breakfast okay. However, the bed is rock hard and our window doesn't properly close so, as you can imagine in Bangkok, that's a very noisy nights sleep! The location is good but the hotel itself gets a 2/5.
1. Best value for your money (Hostels were charging me $20-$25/night, here I paid $35/night) 2. 10-15 mins walk to Temples and Chinatown 3. Restaurant on-site (Good food) 4. 100B to Khan San Road 5. Free Wi-Fi (Good internet speed) 6. Security (You can talk a short night walk around the hotel) 7. Always taxis or Tuk-Tuk outside 8. Tour desk on-site (Opens at 8am in morning and always bargain before saying yes to any tour) 9. Helpful Front-desk staff members ( Gave me a map and explained me in detail) 10. If you have data plan, download "Grab" app. It works similar to UBER but you see fixed fare
We stayed here for 4 nights which was our first stop in Thailand. The hotel is clean and nice, nothing special though. The reception staff were lovely (although avoid the people trying to sell excursions in the lobby) We had a nice room, shower was OK but not much coverage. We had a view of the back car park which was rubbish, but we weren't there for the view, plus we are in a city. We were pretty central to everything and it was easy to get a taxi. Bit of a nightmare to walk anywhere. The food was the best part about the hotel. Breakfast was good, always a good selection for the small amount there. No complaints from me on this. We even ate dinner here too (we were a bit nervous about trying street food on the first couple of days). We were the only ones in, I guess its expensive for locals. 150BH was the highest cost of a dish. Probably would stay here again if I was in Bangkok.
