I loved being in Mandarin Oriental, rooms are beautiful, with awesome view, location is the best, breakfast excellent with many options of everything, I would really recommend this hotel, and I would definitely stay there again.

I took my father for a 3-nights vacay there. It was a delightful experience. Very nice and clean room, delicious welcome amenities, breakfast, and dinner. Hotel staff were friendly, polite, attentive, helpful, and caring.

This hotel is amazing however my Wife is Indonesian and the check in experience sour our entire experience. My Wife is used to being looked down upon by hotel staff when travelling in Thailand however this is something I will never get used too. Seriously Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok at your level of price I would think you would train preconceptions out of your staff. Your wonderful physical hotel has seen the last of my dollars. I am truely sad to say this as your hotel is wonderful otherwise.

I can not rave enough about my visit. Everything was professional, elegant and seamless from pick up at the airport (private driver in new 7-series BMW), room butler, upgraded suite (for my birthday), every meal and any service needed. I was quite concerned about the renovation when I booked and almost switched hotels but so glad I didn’t. The service was exceptional and they went over the top for my birthday, with gorgeous flowers (from the concierge, butler and cleaning service), to a breakfast birthday cake and various treats over a few days. Overly thoughtful. The renovation did not impact our stay, but my view of the river did overlook the construction of the pool and tower. The hotel is on the mainland, and you have to take the hotel ferry/shuttle across the river to the spa, fitness center and their Thai restaurant. For the spa - best massage I have ever had in my life! Anong may appear tiny but she was a strong woman. They were kind enough to upgrade my massage room - steam/shower, massage bed, massage table, jacuzzi. I was spoiled and think I can’t have another massage in the US. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The only negative I have to say is although the concierge is helpful, I think they push the wrong restaurants/tours to fill numbers. They suggested the Thai show/dinner and was so touristy I felt like I was on a cruise. The restaurant decor should be updated and the food was just ok. I was disappointed to waste an evening there when I had restaurants of my own I wanted to try. They do mean well and were very helpful when I inquired about specific sights, and suggested the best means of transportation (via river or car). All other meals were excellent and the breakfast was a highlight with fresh fruits, made to order juices/smoothies and traditional menu items. The complimentary river cruise offered by the hotel is quick and a great way to see the scenery/locals/feed the fish in the river (it’s like a frenzy). Le Normandie was also a favorite - not to be missed! We were not at the hotel for lunch or tea time but looked fantastic, as well.

Had a really great time with madarin oriental hotel with excellent service. The boat trip and the breakfast was amazing. Location is great, near the big shopping centre, easily accessible by boat. One of the most beautiful hotels with professional and friendly staffs.

We were delighted staying at MO. We are used to staying at Four Season, but MO wowed us in a way that now MO is definitely our first choice. We felt as part of a family, something that we've never felt before in a hotel. Everyone goes above and beyond to make you happy. They should be rated 6 star hotel!. Every single thing is beautifully made (served & personalized) for you. It is worth it every cent! Highly recommend! It is definitely a whole new hotel experience. Congrats MO Bangkok!

Our stay was beyond expectations in every way. It is one of the top 5 luxury hotels we have ever stayed in, and the best in Bangkok without question. From the time we were picked up at the Airport to being escorted all the way to Security checkpoint when returning to the airport, it was a 5-star experience.

I recently went back for almost 12 years to this most elegant, most fabulous and most majestic hotel in Bangkok on 25 May as a visitor ( and as your MO newsletter subscriber in Japan.),and had an extraordinary experience. Good atmosphere on the Lobby floor with modern Thai decoration although renovation work was proceeding, I was sitting on an elegant sofa in a bright atrium-patio for a while, “The Authors' Lounge”. I went into The Mandarin Oriental Shop ( it may be a temporary Kiosk due to renovation work) because I wanted to buy some souvenirs for friends in Tokyo.(Some items often features advertisement ”Fans of M.O.”), a female staff at the cashier was tremendous friendly and I, also, was truly happy. Next, I climbing the seasoned and practiced stairs up to on mezzanine floor overlooking the floor of “The Authors' Lounge”, because I wanted to feel its soft ambience on all-througtout-the floor. I was escorted to a smallish table by the high- ceiling- window, and I could see a bright outside terrace out of the window. I enjoyed a glass of Alsace wine and Vietnamese vegetable dumplings (steamed), and, many many people around me enjoyed Lunch or Tea on the Saturday afternoon. (I know that I can see Chao Phraya river scene at my table throughout the high- ceiling window in this restaurant.) Of course, these glasses and dishes must be very delicious! More than anything, I had very elegant scene and relaxed time. This was 2-nd visit to this Restaurant, each time has each impression. I honestly think that their service is extremely outstanding!

Very good hotel for my family. Nice, clean, calm hotel and very good service. This hotel easy to go from Airport. It is very close to big Department store, IconSiam. In the room it is very clean and beautiful.

Until October(?) the Mandarin Oriental is renovating. So adjustments are necessary to welcome their guests. Waiting for my tennis/squash instructor I had the pleasure to meet an elegant lady in a beautiful pink Thai silk dress, the Guest Relations Officer. I told her that I loved the beautiful, peaceful and fine decorated Lounge where we were. The wonderful guitar music made it all heavenly. She explained that we where standing in the Authors Lounge of the most famous Asian Hotel existing over 120 years. Noblesse oblige. The Oriental knows how to deal with the temporary problems due to renovations. The staff in Mandarin Oriental are just fantastic! My tennis instructor , the manager of the Spa/Health Center, the Restaurantmanager of the Terrace, Miss Karen Chan , to name a few . But believe me, they are all great!
