I go to Bangkok every 6 weeks. My usual hotel was full so I had to look for an alternative. Found the Majestic Suites. This is my new favorite hotel. It exceeded my expectations. The entire hotel was perfect clean. Rooms were perfect. Nice design rooms. Bright, nice wood cabinets. Bathroom was awesome with electric washing toilet (Japan style). Beds were perfect. One of the best beds I have ever slept in. Rooms were quite from outside noise. Great for sleeping. Staff were always helpful. Speak perfect English. They made my visit wonderful. Always greet you with a smile. This hotel is guest friendly... can bring a lady back to your room. Breakfast was basic but good food. Perfect location. Just around the cornet to Nana Plaza. BTS station just 3 minutes away. Walking distance to many major shopping malls, Daniel Thaiger hamburgers, Terminal 21 Very low price of 1,200 baht a night. Best price for a 4 star hotel. Excellent value. Now I will stay at the Majestic suites every trip to Bangkok
Great value for money...small hotel but beautiful clean with all five stars facilities staff are good...centrally located easy to get public as well as private transport room was very good very well maintained just as new... Didn’t had food there... Overall great experience
Have stayed here many times over the years and always have an enjoyable stay. Great location for soi 4's intense night life. Rooms spacious and well equipped. This is great value for money if you want to stay in this area. Short walk to Nana BTS station. The rooms are quiet despite being right on Sukhumvit road.
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times in recent years, the last time two weeks ago. It is a small hotel, comfortable and clean, great location near Nana Skytrain station and close to shops along Sukhumvit Road. Rooms are smallish but everything I need is there, It is great value for Bangkok.
Just back from another excellent stay at this great little hotel. Excellent simple breakfast don't know why so many other hotels can't match this! Room as always spotlessly clean. Even better now it is a non smoking hotel.
This is the third or fourth time I have stayed at the Majestic Suites and found it to be excellently managed. The rooms are smallish but adequate, and clean; the air conditioning temperature can be effectively controlled (and I'm highly sensitive to draughts and cold air-con blasts). Don’t take a first-floor room at the rear, because the view is of a concrete wall (in my case at least). This visit, I had trouble with the room safe (it refused to lock, then after locking, refused to open) and the lavatory cistern (started dripping water on to the floor). But both problems were quickly fixed. The location is great, just a few minutes from the Nana Skytrain station. There is a laundry not far away around the corner in Soi 4. It has however, a 24-hour service and no express service. But 50 metres further on is another laundry which does a same-day service. It seems that the hotel is owned by the same family that runs a tailor shop next door as well as a second hotel not far away which contains a swimming pool available for use by Majestic Suites residents. Like most hotels along this strip, it is “guest friendly”, a euphemism meaning that girls picked up from the street can be taken to rooms without charge. The process whereby the girl exchanges her ID document at the reception for a card of some sort, is so discreet that the casual observer would not know. My (grown-up) daughter also stayed here last year and was totally unaware of what was happening. The front desk staff, in my experience, are consistently friendly and helpful. The lobby doubles as breakfast room and restaurant. The breakfast is about standard for this part of town—adequate but nothing special. I stopped eating breakfast here when the not-so-friendly waitress (and I don’t blame her for that) served me a second pot of tea containing not a new tea bag but the used bag I had removed from the original pot and placed on my breakfast plate. A little thing maybe, but highly irritating and I regarded it as a hostile act. That was in July last year. So I took to going round the corner to the Dynasty Inn, two minutes walk away along Soi 4, where you can sit either inside (air-con cooled) or outside (ventilator cooled). The breakfasts here are comparably priced and the waiting staff easy going and friendly. This time at the Majestic Suites, the sour waitress was still at work, so I again used the Dynasty Inn. However, that experience does not put me off the Majestic Suites, and I will stay here again.
We paid for the hotel in advance which was a mistake. We were moved rooms for various reasons including aircon/shower not working/cleanliness, no wifi due to system being insecure & ipad/phone not allowing it. The breakfast waiter treated us like 2nd class citizens when we went for our included breakfast.
I stayed here for 3 nights and was pleased with this hotel, clean well appointed rooms, comfortable bed. Two complaints neither the hotels fault, being on Sukhumvit the traffic could be a little noisy but not overly so, I'm a light sleeper but this didn't cause me any problems. and when I arrived by taxi it was too busy to stop outside so we had to go round the corner onto Soi 4 which only added a 20 metre walk. Couldn't wish for a better location as far as nightlife or transport is concerned being 50 metres from Nana Plaza. In conclusion I would happily stay here again
I passed this place many times and didn't even realize it was there. If Nana is your destination this is the place to stay. The hotel is small but fairly modern and upgraded. Nice bathrooms. The hotel sits almost on the corner of Nana. You can actually see the neon lights of Nana if you get a back room. While you can hear the music and noise from Nana it's not bad as the hotel installed sound proof doors in front of the windows. You can get a pool pass front the front desk although I didn't. It's actually more of a walk to the Nana sky train station than I liked. There is a pharmacy next door. 711 past Nana on the left or cross sukhumvit. AC in my room I kept it off most the time and the room managed to stay cool. If I turned it on it would blow right on the bed which was uncomfortable. I saw these strange bugs in the room they looked like ants. Breakfast was not good or bad. Eggs n bacon, toast, or hot rice porridge. Lunch and dinner had more options which were a hit or miss. Avoid the red curry. Staff was nice. Overall I might stay again if the price is right or depending who I'm with or if Nana is the goal. It's a quaint hotel. Definitely guest friendly and streamlined! There are better hotels near asoke imo and asoke is a better area, again, imo. I wouldn't bring my family, but couples and solos should be OK. Odd and comfortable hotel.
The hotel was good, friendly staff, nice meals. The room was very nice & clean. As I only stayed 2 nights it was fine, however, it was a tight squeeze. Not much room to move, this could be a problem if you were staying too long. I don't really like Bangkok, but, l would recommend the hotel
