Hotel felt a little dated and there were signs of water damage everywhere: mildly smell, peeling plaster and paint, and mildew. Staff were great at addressing it by bringing some air filters to our room. Because the location was so good and the service friendly (and a decent breakfast) I would have considered staying again BUT just before my departure I received a letter warning me of a charge for a towel they claimed I had stained black. That had no evidence to substantiate the claim (I don’t dye my hair or even wear makeup & I was traveling alone, so unsure where black dye would come from!) but even so, I’ve stayed many a place with my children that have led to far greater disasters that did not lead to a threat of charge! It’s for that reason alone, that I will not stay here again.
