Two different rooms had water leaks from the ceiling, one from a light fixture and the other in the closet onto my clothing. Thirty dollar dining credit when ceiling leaked over fifteen new items of clothing. Putty, filler, and sealer throughout the rooms indicate that problems have been patched instead of fixed for a very long time. WiFi drops constantly and requires users to sign in several times a day. One of the four elevators permanently out of service, making the wait times infuriating. Since the core of the hotel is not air conditioned, it is a long, hot, humid wait to get to your room. Hotel lost my lounge access for breakfast, and my card key stopped working same day. Lounge is nice, but the offering for cocktail hour are not competitive. Room is adequate, but the bathroom is dank and the closet awkwardly small. Staff are nice, but stuck between a property that has been left to run down and the clients who paid a lot for very sub-par experience. Hotel has good access to public transport and the T21 mall (and Soi Cowboy if you’re into that). Plenty of hotel options in the immediate vicinity, so wait for the “renovations” to complete before staying at this property.
