I just come back home after 1 week stay in this hotel..it is over my expectation! Staff are nice and care a small detail , even prepare a nice decoration on the bed with flower for my 6 years married anniversary! All hotel staff (Yes! All of them not only front desk but I really mean "all of them" are friendly and have a high service mind. Everything are perfect. Room is nice , bed is nice , Everywhere are clean and super baby friendly staff are all around!! Maybe only one bad point is swimming pool is close too early at 8 pm. But for safety reason I can understand. :) Ps.location is perfect! Connect to two shopping mall and many choices for food! Street food are nearby and bts is just right in front of hotel. I will come back again and will not go to any other hotel! This is the best hotel for my family.
Room are spacious and well equipped if you want to sell cater. Food is excellent with a wide range of different nationality dishes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Gym well equipped with a sauna and large pool. The higher you are the more awesome the views of Bangkok especially at night.
I was here with my mother after a previously disappointing stay, and I'm pleased that she liked this hotel much more this time. The staff were mostly helpful and she was given an upgrade and a late checkout, which was very kind. Some of the staff were a little robotic and unwilling to think logically or even do their job. For example, the credit card that was used to pay for the room currently uses a signature rather than a pin but because the machine required a pin, that was that. The receptionist was not willing to provide a solution, she just blankly stared and kept repeating that she needed a pin. In the end we phoned the UK to get the pin (which had arrived while my mother was in Thailand) which was a lot of fuss for something I am sure the receptionist could have helped us with. The same receptionist also told my mother that she had to pay for the late checkout, even though the manager had said it was complimentary, which was rather odd. Maybe she is new. Another annoyance was when my mother tried to have the concierge book theatre tickets. Rather than doing this, the trainee behind the counter (not the concierge himself, he was chatting with the doorman) spent her time trying to sell my mother a tour. Half an hour of sales talk later, and my mother persuades the trainee to do what she asked and the tickets were reserved, but again, not without a lot of fuss. The rooms are nice, I would recommend getting a park view as the outlook is phenomenal. The furniture is in need of replacing as it is scratched and stained and marked. The housekeeping is not good. Too many times, the amenities were not replenished, the beds were not fully made, and the water not replaced. The facilities were excellent, as was the breakfast. The men who looked after the gym and pool were very friendly and kept the areas beautifully clean. I
For me the location and facilities of the hotel along with the ever helpful staff make this my regular stay when in Bangkok. Yes there are newer and certainly cheaper hotels but the level of comfort and being smack bang on the BTS is not to be sniffed at in the Bangkok heat. There is a rooftop garden and swimming pool, the tastefully decorated and well equipped suites, the Emporium mall with all the shops and eateries within, all the massage shops nearby, the quality and choice of food and drink served by the hotel (especially breakfast) is top draw.
In our regular visits to Bangkok for post natal care we sometimes like to splash out a little and get a nice hotel. This one right by the Emporium and EmQuartier Malls is no exception. The room was spacious and the view spectacular over the city. It is close to everything you need on Suhkumvit Road and right beside the Skytrain. We are pretty fond of our breaks in Bangkok and we will certainly come back to this hotel when we get a good room deal.
Stayed here for a night after a family holiday in Hua Hin. Found the rooms to be very generous in size and very clean. Only complaint I have is that for the size of the rooms, the bathrooms are very small. You could only have one person in there and if was better to step out to dry yourself. The suites where my family had previous stayed (week before) were far more generous with the bathrooms. The rooms were very clean and the staff very polite. Breakfast was excellent and the pastries amazing. Worthwhile to include breakfast when booking. Location to shopping and the trains system was fantastic. Will stay again.
Interiors are a bit dated. But the room size, location and accessibility to everything - BTS, shopping malls, eateries, bars, etc are wonderful. Service is great with smiling faces everywhere. My family will come back if shopping tops their lists.
I was in a solo business trip. Those staff served guy guests the best. Especially old white Caucasian guy. They don't treat Asian guest same attitude which themselves are same region. Feel like a 3 star massage hotel.
I used to stay at Chatrium River Side and love it, but since I have a toddler I needed a more convenient place. The location is perfect, connect to the Emporium and BTS. They have on the 3rd floor of the mall a kid’s playground called Imaginia, which my son loved to play there. Also the swimming pool was very nice and quiet. I got to keep my son busy while we were there and the best part was that I didn’t need to drive around in BKK to find good options of entertainment. It’s walking distance from the Dinosaur World and feel stations from the Sea World Aquarium. The hotel itself was ok, our room was a bit noisy even though it was on the 36th floor and the breakfast was nothing to write home about it. Actually it was very busy and a quite small place. At Chatrium River Side I used to have the best breakfast of all times. If you are new in town and is traveling without kids I would recommend the River Side since it’s also an experience to take the shuttle boat to the sky train and use the train itself. If you have small kids the Emporium Suites it’s very convenient, also because you can book an apartment with kitchen and prepare some quick meals for the kids there. It’s definitely a place to come back.
Very good: In terms of location, you can’t get get better than that. Hotel is linked directly to emporium, emquatier and bts station. You can find very good restaurants in the mall but not as crowded as siam square area. Cheaper street food options and many small cafes are available within walking distance. Thonglor is 1 station away where all the cool cafes are. Hotel staffs brought a cake for my wife’s birthday. We booked for 3 nights but checked out in the evening on the last night, front desk only charged as 2.5 nights, very appreciative of this gesture Not so good : room is a little dated and wifi signal was intermittent. Thanks and we will be seeing you soon!
