Its basic, very basic. If you just need a place to stay while you visit the night market in this area its ok. Seems tailored to service the shop owners who come to this night market to buy stock to resell. It's not really the sort of place to take the family or wife for a weekend away in Bangkok.

Rooms are dirty. The white towers are browndish, not white. Water boiler inside is rusted. Equipments like air-conditioner remote is half-falling off. Bed head-board has pile of dust. Condiments like coffee are not refilled or partial refill for some days. One of the rooms assigned to me has dimmed light and hardly able to see anything clearly. It was very hot and air-conditioner could not cool it down. Luckily, got moved to a different room after several requests and demands. I was told the hot room had hidden cameras which can be viewed from the reception. That wasn't nice. Not sure any other rooms have similar hidden cameras. Felt unsafe.

Hotel refused to offer a refund despite Covid-19 situation. They offered an amendment of date until Dec2021 (but must decide and book by Oct2020) when nobody knows when the pandemic will end. Hotel shows no empathy and sympathy for its valuable customers and only focused on revenue and profits.

The worst hotel I ever stayed in Bangkok and I fully recommend to others not to stay in this hotel. Bad management of the hotel. On reaching the hotel at 7.00pm, we had been told the hotel had no room available, force to move to other hotel which location was terrible, had to walk along quiet and dark path, we felt unsafe. On insist and requested, the hotel staff agreed to give a family room in De Lavendar Bangkok Hotel for 4 of us, the following day the hotel staff only fulfill our request to provide the 2 standard room that we had booking. Three night staying had to move 3 times. It's awful. I will never... never booking this hotel again.

Staff was rude when we ask for another toilet roll, open our room door without us around and when we come back and saw room door open, air-con in the room was leaking during our second day stay, ants around near table, bottom of the door edge was not close properly, it was noisy in the night as the next door guest come back with noise and morning staff was banging wall near the stair

De Laverder is inn an excellent location close to train airport and a myriad of shopping, street and malls. The hotel is inexpensive Binny has no in room facilities except, A/C. The standard room has no window so look out for this feature when booking. Staff were very friendly and helphelpful. Metre taxis are cheapest, tuk- tuk are a tourist treat bit expensive, pays to haggle hard.
