Quite a pathetic hotel. No water in room, had to buy, no tea coffee condiments in the room, had to buy, wall paper peeling off, bathroom door sunmica cracked and coming off. Receptionist extremely rude. Called for electric kettle 3 times, didnt get it. Staff not at all friendly.
The hotel is nearby the BTS skytrain station which makes it easier to move around the town. There are rooms in the new building where the actual reception is, which are better equipped while i got a room in the old building, where there were also constructions in progress from 8 AM to 8 PM everyday which were not mentioned before the arrival, and that made it difficult to sleep (especially the 2d and 3d floor). The breakfast was basic as well. In general, it is not a bad choice with a small budget considering the location.
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in July 2017. It is a nice hotel in a very nice location close to MRT station. The hotel itself is good but the furnishing and room structures are very old. It could have been a lot better. The bathroom was very old, the bathtub had many holes or broken areas and it looked ugly. The room carpet was very old and wall painting was all peeled off. The price was reasonable but the room itself is not that impressing. However, the seafood they serve in the restaurant is amazing. We were amazed by the food taste and the quality.
this hotel is quite cheap but not so bad. The room enough large and clean. But the building is old and not so luxury. Breakfast menu not so varying and not so delicious. The location is very good because very near with the BTS station Punnawithi.
this is the best hotel for the money in central bangkok, very close to skytrain, clean bedding, great breakfast include in price.I have been working and travelling in asia for 20 years and i always use this hotel and reccomended it to friends and business colleages.Great for airport.Great.Will be booking a room for my next visit,i d,ont even look elsewhere now.
The location of this hotel is the only thing I like about it but the rest are unacceptable. Once you enter the hotel itself the smell is not very accommodating as well as the room. There are tons of hair on the bed and pillow and its flooding in the bathroom. The space of the room is spacious for cockroaches. I will never come back to this hotel.
Convenient location, a minute walk to BTS sky train, Punnawithee station on sukhumvit line. Very Cheap price. Clean But really old one. You have got what you pay! Just for a short sleeping only not suggest for relaxing.
this time we stayed in the deluxe room which supposedly is in the new block. It's a good size room, clean, yes there were some ants in the bathroom but this is Thailand. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were like rock. The air conditioning unit is quite load so if you are a light sleeper you might have a problem. Wifi was free and ok, it was about 3 Mb/s. Breakfast is standard buffet some hot thai food, fried eggs, hot dogs, salad, fruit, toast , tea/coffee. Not bad. The staff were quite helpful no complaints there. There was underground parking. The BTS (sky train ) is at the end of the short street. It's Punnawithi station and less than 30 minutes to go right into the centre ( Siam ). There are no local shops nearby though a 7/11 is easily walkable though at night the little road is quite dark. Bitech,, Central Mall, Mega Mall and of course the airport are all not too far away by taxi. If you can afford the little upgrade I would say it is worth it, I have read negative reviews about the standard room and overall the deluxe was clean, good size and apart from the air conditioning, quiet.
The lady who took our checkin was very kind. Next day morning the lady at the desk was uncourteous, unhelpful. No smile at all. It clearly was mentioned on her face that she hated Indians.Terrible place to stay with kids. Room and bathroom had cockroaches all over it.Morning Breakfast...limited items for vegetarians. When we asked for the fruits in buffet, they said fruits are finished. The Restaurants stinks of raw food and sauces. Our room was also not cleaned the next day when we came back from our excursion. However the same did not matter as we had only 1 day to stay for in this hotel. Hotel discriminates a lot between Indians and Foreigners and their Nationalities. This attitude is clearly noticeable from the staff's behavior, though they know 60-70% of the revenue is generated by Indian Tourist. A real horrifying experience. Please do not stay here if you are travelling with kids.
The positives: -Very friendly staff who speak good English -Very Clean, reasonably spacious rooms -Very comfortable beds which was the greatest thing at the end of tiresome days in Bangkok -Both room service and reception was very responsive -A 2 minutes walk from the BTS Punawithi station -Average room pricing -A quiet, tranquil place -Free wifi of average speed available in the room The negatives: -One of the rooms had a broken window -Both rooms had malfunctioning bathrooms -The hotel is very outdated and needs a lot of renovations -Although it is near the BTS Punnawithi station, the station itself is really far from the city centre and important landmarks (If you intend to go to Siam, for example,it will take you a minimum of about half an hour using the BTS) -Breakfast was poor and the Hotel couldn't fulfill special requests like Halal Food (Being a muslim,I only had cereals, toast and milk eveyday) -The Hotel couldn't help us with booking our tours Finally,I hope you find this helpful.
