We stayed here for one night as part of an organised South East Asia tour. We did expect, from the name, that it might be a little closure to Koh San Road but it wasn’t much at all in a taxi (60 baht). We were pleasantly surprised st the quality of the hotel, we also ate here and the food was good.
We had a tour and we stayed here 02 nights. Staff is very good, friendly, helpful. Hotel is very old. The bed is not comfortable, we could not sleep. Breakfast is poor, nothing to choose. Hotel is near MRT.
Good basic hotel. Lobby very impressive. Excellent situation 1 minute from hualamphong station. Nice size rooms although could do with a makeover. Bathroom ceiling had been repaired but not finished off. WiFi signal poor but we were at the end of a corridor. Did not have breakfast here. Staying here again later in the month.
Excellent buffet for our group with lots of fresh and pre prepared Asian dishes. Very pleasant staff and certainly recommended. Good choice and range of foods catering well to vegetarians. Nice comfortable seating and lay out
Staff with breakfast , room , decoration are good and also the price compared to that of many other hotels is cheaper ( almost as the same price as hostels ) Sleeping alone is not a good choice at all cause' I heard many Thai's ghost movies 🙈🙉🙊 and I feel a little bit scared , especially the sound like someone knocked my door when I was sleeping 😂😂😂 One more thing that make me feel satisfied is it nears the underground train systems 🚇🚇
We stayed in the Bangkok Centre Hotel for two nights as part of an organised tour. The lobby is large and quite impressive looking for a budget hotel, and the rooms were spacious enough and clean. The rooms are also provided with free bottled drinking water and had a mini fridge to keep them cool. We had no problem with the bathroom either, it was nice that there was an actual shower cubicle, which is unlike other hotels that we stayed in during our tour where it was more of a wetroom style. The breakfast was pretty good too; not a lot in the way of Western-style cooked breakfast, but then this is Asia! We were happy with the pancakes, cereal and fruit on offer, and appreciated that this was included in the price. It's also a lot more convenient than having to search for breakfast elsewhere when there is so much to do in Bangkok. There is free wifi, however it was extremely intermittent and disconnected pretty much every time we closed a web browser, meaning you had to log in repeatedly. The other downside is that outside the main doors of the hotel, you get hassled a little bit by their taxi/tuk tuk company and the massage parlour. The hotel staff are also not overly keen to offer help. This hotel is situated in a good location, not too far from the airport and right next to one of the main train stations, which was very convenient for visiting places like the Chatuchak weekend market (would recommend). Also a short taxi/tuk tuk ride away from main attractions such as Wat Pho and the Grand Palace, as well as Khao San Road, which is a great place to go to experience Bangkok nightlife. Overall this is a decent hotel with good amenities and offers a comfortable stay. We would recommend to anyone looking for a budget hotel in the centre of Bangkok, especially if you are planning on exploring most of the time.
Good location. Clean room and bathroom. Big choice for breakfast. Good bar an big lobby. Wifi worked fine. Only downside is the staff, not friendly at all and they try to get you to take their taxis and tuktuks.
Was really impressed with this hotel. Stayed one night before starting a tour. Included breakfast was excellent, chef cooked me the best omelette I have ever had. Air conditioning was excellent which is important in Thailand!
Went here on an organised tour. The lobby looks very grand. The rooms are an ok size, clean. Bathroom is very small and dated and could of done with a good clean. The location is good for the train and local thai reasturants.
A few months ago, I had a week trip to Thailand with coworkers. I stayed in the Bangkok Centre Hotel 2 days 1 night. The hotel was very well located. The staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet was one of the best that I have explored on my trip. The food was amazing. They just free wifi in the lobby. Be careful for mosquitoes. You should find a some food around the hotel in the evening. It was nice experience for you.
