Pop is the budget hotel of Harris. So your amenities will be sparse. The rooms where just a bit wider than arms length. The breakfast was only heated up boxed food and the staff was not very responsive. The price of around 350 ribu a night was quite cheap but I still would have expected a bit more.
The price is cheap and the hotel is in the same area with a mall with quite a lot of restaurant to choose.. the room is clean and the staff is friendly but the breakfast wasn't that good but there weren't any restaurant that open in the morning near the area :(
Stayed for a night with family, it was OK as the hotel is very close to the mal which easy to find food (food court top floor on the mal). Limited parking space during mal operating hours. Room corridor wasnt clean enough but still ok. The bed is ok but the bed sheet look not clean (need to change). The hot water smells bad at first 2 mins but ok afer it. Aircon in the room ok. Front office were nice and helpful. You need to report your car details to get free parking. Location near to sudirman street where all the non halal food are.... Yeay... After all, i put 4 of 5 points.
We're a couple come from cirebon.. We had an appointment with our bridal from bandung therefore we looking for the nearest chained budget hotel to the location.. We booked the room from booking.com and we was a booking.com loyal guest which is booking.com always gave us the best budget prices we needed.. On the booking.com promotions we can choose our own bed type double or twin.. And we choosed double as we're a couple.. But this is the first time we had a choice to Harris Group.. And IT WAS THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCED WE GOT AT BUDGET HOTEL.. 1. When i came to check in on 1:50 pm the front office name Asep told us the room is twin bed.. And i said "no, we booked the double bed at the booking.com and we need double bed".. But he said "we don't have the room unless you want to wait until 2:00pm".. And me "oh come on it's only 10 minutes left of course i'll wait" Me : "We had the parking ticket and we need the stamp for free parking due to your hotel inside the mall" Him : "Ok what's your car number, i'll put it after the room ready and it will be automaticaly" and then i told him the car number.. 10 minutes later our room ready.. 2. I told them i will have a guests.. My mom will came by to visit me and my friend from bandung.. So, please help them to go up to my room.. Butttttt when my mom came, no one help them to go up and my mom call me to pick her up.. 3. I thought every chained budget hotel have a great standar that's why i looked for chained hotel unless local hotel.. But, OMG.. When we were sleeping there is so noisy out loud from the other guest on the room hallway for 2 hours.. And we are felt so annoyed, we can't sleep well also we felt like we can't get any private at the hotel for the first time.. We feel like slept in the supermarket.. Hahahaha.. 4. When we do the check out again with the same FO.. One more time we got crazy.. There's no greetings, no thankyou.. And just it.. And please note for all of you for the first time too i got the hotel check out time is 11.00 am.. Not 12.00.. Usually every hotel check out time is 12.00.. And of yeahh we need to buy the amenities (toothbrush, toothpaste, and body soap) there is no free.. Compare with the other budget hotel i slept like Fave Hotel, Neo Hotel, Amaris, Batiqa etc eventhough they are budget they still provide you profesionally with amenities.. And all of them check out on 12.00.. Sometimes the prices is cheaper too than POP.. 5. We go out from the hotel but when we gave the parking ticket the staff of parking station asked us to go back to the hotel to get free parking stamp.. I said "Why? They told us it's already automaticaly" and the parking girl "yes automatically in the system but still need the stamp and your car number is not inputed on the system yet" OMG then i have to walk soooo farrrrr away back to the hotel because our car is stuck.. When i came to the FO and ask for the stamp he only gave me the stamp WITHOUT ANY APOLOGIZE OR THANKYOU OR ANY GREETINGS.. NOT ONLY THE FO.. ALL OF THE STAFF SINCE WE WERE CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT NEVER GAVE US GREETINGS..
Room is small, its budget hotel. Cigarette smell in corridors The room toilet hs no lock... just sliding door... lol Shopping mall connecting to the hotel... no hassle for that.. Heavy traffic expected outside the hotel most of the time
the room is great, unique toilet. breakfast is amazing. serve local rice dishes everyday. the hotel is in the same building with a shopping mall where you can get food like pizza hut, grocery store and almost everything.
We stayed at Room 718 on 20-22 Dec. The staff are very friendly. However, the room wasn't clean as expected. The beds are very hard and the sink was clogged. The room/walkway lighting wasn't very bright. There are good things need to be mentioned such as: water dispenser is available at the lift lobby, breakfast has really improved with more choices (I like the fried chicken and green bean soup). We are really amused with the washroom that resembles like a 'portable toilet'.
the location is in the same area with mall and Harris hotel so easy to find food or other things, have special parking area in front of the hotel, room is small but quite clean, minimum amenities (towel and soap). helpful staff, standard breakfast and free wifi and it's all good enough.
