The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Get breakfast before 9:30. Rooms are clean but some what dated. But it does provide decent access to the airport at a decent price. Had to make an early departure so missed breakfast.
The front desk staff truly goes out of their way to assist you, especially management. I arrived very late and they helped me find delivery (cross-country flights can sometimes call for emergency eats). They provided me with a wealth of menus, said what they order, who they liked best, etc. The room was very spacious, and pretty quiet, the only thing I would recommend is cleaning some of those areas that can be neglected (ducts, vents, etc) as there was a bit of dust collected in some areas. Also, Starwood should probably invest in some upgrades to the hotel (new/refinished tubs). If I needed to stay near the airport again I would not hesitate to stay here.
I have stayed at this hotel once before about two years ago and it was awesome but this time around it wasn’t that great. Our room was clean but it was outdated and due for a upgrade. Bathroom wall peeling, chair stained, and behind the pull out sofa was disgusting with trash and kids toys I guess from previous guest. Breakfast was ok but I had to throw it away after I found a long blonde hair in my eggs(yuck). I don’t think I would return to this hotel.
This hotel is very close to the mall and Maryland live! The staff was great and friendly! The breakfast is great and the staff made sure we had everything we needed and more! I would definitely stay here again!
The hotel is very clean, good location to BWI and free shuttle. Check-in was fast and they have a free breakfast. As I was only traveling thru and staying one night with no car, I didn't like that I was little far from places to eat and get a cold beer. Although the lobby sold them they were quite pricey for one drink. All in all I will stay closer to places to eat next time if traveling thru BWI.
As a platinum Marriott member, I experience many Marriott properties, most of which I am very satisfied with. However, my wife and I took a weekend trip here and were especially impressed with 1)the very cheerful and accommodating front desk clerk when I arrived after 11PM and asked for some ice, 2)the breakfast hostess who took it upon herself to offer a tray to me when she saw I was preparing plates to take to the room to eat, and 3)even the man cleaning the men's room was especially pleasant. This was in stark contrast to an experience in another state 3 weeks previously.
The hotel was convenient for us in terms of location and nice and clean. Again, most of all customer service was OUTSTANDING. We were checked in by a very nice young lady named Danielle. I commend her highly for customer service skills. Danielle was on the at 2:00pm I believe.
I am writing this review to acknowledge the professionalism and excellent customer service I received from Danielle Burthey. I arrived at the Residence Inn on the morning of Oct 4, 2017. I wanted to check in early because of an exhausting morning of travel. Associate Danielle Burthey made every effort to not only accommodate my request, but, in my opinion, went above and beyond to offer possible options. Although we were not able to get checked in early. I felt every effort was made to help me. I believe this should be recognized and commended.
I am staying here for the next few days. The staff are very friendly and the suites are excellent. They gave me a two bedroom for the price of a single. The breakfast is nice and the area is very clean. I would definitely stay here again when in the area
We got into the bwi airport at about 1150pm....we called the htl knowing the courtesy shuttle was done at 12am. Rodonna, who sooo helpful answered the phone and stayed on the phone with us until we found the shuttle and driver. The driver wasnt happy that he had to work a couple min. Past midnight and slammed the door when we got in the shuttle, when we got to the Residence Inn, we were pleasantly greeted by Rodonnna and she took very good care of us and thanked her for excellent customer service on getting us the shuttle...she truly made us feel at home. Our room was clean and nice size. Breakfast was nice the next Morning, and Rodonna was still working and greeted us with a smile again and coordinated a shuttle to the bwi airport to catch the Marc Train. I highly recommend this htl and would stay here again.
