Stayed for 3 days 2 night during business trip. the room are quite dark and a bit creepy. and the bathroom layout kinda amusing. the glass door that separate shower, sink and urinoir made the bathroom feels kinda cramped. breakfast was great! i love the french toast and all the bakeries. too bad i dont have a chance to try the swimming pool. maybe next time when i visit sanur area.

- My room was on ground floor, and they are offering massage service on sun loungers behind my pool! - density of the development is very high and there is no privacy in the room. - wifi reception is extremely poor, can't even connect a video call. - bathroom is smelly - A/C is noisy. - towels are not soft. - no acoustic insulation from the corridor, I can hear everyone passing my room!

My family and I spent 5 lovely nights at the Swiss Bel resort. The rooms were rather dated and needed a refurbish and a good clean, although they were quite adequate and had a huge comfortable bed. There was no hairdryer in the room which is what you would expect in a hotel. The breakfasts were very good and varied and a good choice for every palate each morning. They did have special buffet evenings which were inexpensive, and we did eat at the Swiss café at the Hotel which compared to a lot of hotels were extremely reasonable. Swiss bel has a lovely pool and my son enjoyed the small children’s pool which had a fountain and which wasn’t overcrowded. I did notice as many have mentioned already, that some guests tended to leave their hotel towels on the sun loungers and then go off for the day, I saw a few people complaining about this, and I hope that the Hotel management can sort this out for the other guests. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, they are wonderful, everywhere you go you are greeted with a warm smile and a hello. The location is also very good and just outside you are on the main street where there are a variety of restaurants and bars, I highly recommend The Three Monkeys, a bit more expensive than the other restaurants but the food is amazing. There were 3 of us and we had drinks, main meal and a dessert for around $60, for those in Australian a bargain. We also ate at the Wicked parrot, they also had lovely food and evening entertainment which was nice. The sanur markets are also not far – about a 10 minute walk to get all your Bali goodies. Id definitely stay in this Hotel again.

Just had a lovely stay at this hotel. All the staff made us feel very very welcome. We were also surprised by the range of countries that the guests came a global get together with a huge age range too! We felt that the friendliness of the staff trickled down through the guests. The low rise hotel's rooms surround a large resort pool with loads of sun beds. Though not on the beach, they have a number of sunbeds available on the beach approx 10 minutes walk away which makes a nice change from the hotel pool and there are plenty of food options to choose from. We had terrific food at a couple of restaurants overlooking the beach. Back at the hotel it was a great base to just walk out onto the street and find great places to eat just a stone's throw away...good shopping too. We had a great time and we'll be back! Great value, great staff, great location for the more 'original Bali' versus Kuta, Semenyak, etc.

I stayed a night here with my partner after seeing the impressive pictures online, though I should have known better than to do so. The hotel's clearly built around a huge pool area and deck chairs are snapped up or 'reserved' by hotel pool towels from early in the morning till god knows when. It was with quite a bit of difficulty that we could finally get a place to simply sit by the pool in the late afternoon. The staff are excellent and polite and the breakfast buffet more than decent, but my entire experience was marred by the small-ish room and the number of children running and screaming down the hallway early in the morning as well as several loutish party-goers stumbling along the same place at night. Say goodbye to a decent night's rest, particularly if you're jet-lagged.

Great location on main street, close to the beach. I was pleased with the restaurant – good choices and all my meals were great – and not expensive. The pool and surrounds are very pretty (but crowded). The coffee shop was a bonus with some lovely cakes (with nice staff and very cheap). A number of designs features of this hotel were odd and didn’t work for me…I had a ground floor plunge pool room – nice, but all blocked off and couldn’t swim out to the main pool. All these rooms are inter-connected – useless for me and terrible for noise! It seemed odd to have pool rooms with child-friendly double rooms (?) The main pool was accessed by a shallow pool crowded full of sunbeds - did feel a bit like crashing through a barrier to get in the pool. (I've stayed in much nice pool access rooms than this hotel has designed!) The reception staff lacked charm and warmth – they did their job, but they weren’t friendly. My room was a bit dated in some of the fittings, but it was clean and cool and everything worked. So all-in-all, this was a good value hotel (which is probably why it had so many families staying...) My only serious complaint is an issue for the management to deal with– someone in that hotel gave my details to a time-share, marketing groups - and I was hassled to go to one of those “free seminars” for a rival hotel chain! They had information about me that only this hotel could know (checkout etc) and they didn’t have information about my previous or next destination…I’ve been pretty loyal to the SwissBel brand, and I don’t like being directed to marketing people that lie and badger me when I’m on holiday! Stay here for value and location - but I was glad my whole holiday wasn’t in this hotel.

Great property, with great value,near to the beach, and center of Sanur. Exceptional Front desk and knowledgeable hotel staff.' A very good restaurant serving very good food. A valued buffet breakfast ncluded in price. Spacious rooms, our came with Jacuzzi. Bicycle provided for short commute. Staff, virtually,standing do your bidding

Second time in this hotel and will book again when back in March. In my opinion unbeatable value all round. Food and drink very reasonable for such a nice hotel and a good mix of all age groups and nationalities.

Booked a deal through Groupon which was for 8 nights, 20% off all food & beverages, free airport transfers, Free welcome drink and a dinner/lunch. We had to provide the voucher at time of booking and confirm all details via email which was done 2 month prior to our arrival. We upgraded to a jacuzzi room which was nice - although i had to give it a good clean before we could use it. It was disgusting and there was weird green mould everywhere. On arrival we had to provide them with their original email confirming all the details of the booking as they didn't have it. We then had to have 3 more trips to reception to get the extras that they didn't want to provide. On check out they had charged for these, so another 2 hours later we managed to get the bill right. The problem is that there is no autonomy at reception and everything has to be cleared by a manager who is never there and has to be constantly phoned. The staff whilst delightful and very helpful, can't actually do anything. So as long as you don't need anything you won't have a problem. We had booked a car seat for our airport transfer when we booked the hotel, we then had to chase for the seat as again they had no record of it despite it being in their email confirmation alongside the crib -which was ready in our room and was great. The hotel generally suffers from poor management and ridiculous protocols which require signatures and more signatures for everything you order. So whilst the guests are tightly monitored the facilities are not. Someone put coffee in the tea machine. I watched 3 people report it after i did and yet no one changed the machine or offered to make you a cup of tea. . . 4 days later it was still coffee-tea. Although the restaurant is no smoking, it is not enforced. So you have to trust other guests not to sit next to you and spark up. . . The pool has tiles falling off. The deck has numerous loose planks that trip people and there was a biscuit under the lounger that we used for 4 days before i put it in the bin. So there is no regular or thorough cleaning and maintenance going on. So whilst the resort is beautiful. It looks much much older than it's 5 years. Toilet paper would regularly run out in the restaurant and reception toilet and the floors would be filthy by the afternoon. So there is no ongoing daily maintenance I would expect from a hotel this size. It is in a great location, close to the beach and the hustle and bustle of warungs and restaurants. The hotel food is good although the menu never changes. So breakfast is tedious after a week. As i said the staff are generally very friendly, and as long as you don't have any reason to interact with them over and above saying hello you should be fine.

We stayed at this Hotel in June. We booked a superior room with a whirlpool. We were allocated a large room on the ground floor with a large patio. The room had a massive bed, nice large TV, plenty of storage space, a small fridge and a glass bathroom ( this would have been very strange to us if we hadn't of been to Vietnam for a few days before Bali, and had the same design bathroom!) We were given the normal shampoo, soap, body wash, sewing kit, shower cap, razor, cotton pads, and they were replaced every day. We were bed and breakfast and our room was just around the corner from the Breakfast room, the breakfast was a very good set up, with lots of choice, with two egg stations, a pancake station, all the normal choice plus more, bacon and tomato's cooked freshly for you. Every day there were different cakes and muffins and also the Danish pastries were in a little warming oven ( I hate them cold and normally they are just sitting on a plate cold). There was a small selection of fruit too. There was a coffee machine and hot water available for tea ( but the water was not boiling, as we British like for tea). The pool was lovely and very scenic. There was the normal thing of people putting towels on the sunbeds and not using the beds till hours later. The reception area was a lovely open air area where you could sit and have a lovely view of the pool. The Hotel employs lots of security, we had a car for our stay in Bali and our car and all cars or taxis were checked every time we returned to the Hotel. There was also security in the underground car park. The Hotel is in a good area with lots of nice shops, bars, restaurants and Hardy's supermarket nearby. All the staff were very friendly and always smiling. This Hotel is lovely and we would recommend it.
