My sister and I stayed at this beautiful resort the last week of April for 4 nights. They upgraded us to a garden villa and it was absolutely breathtaking. It was such a nice surprised to be upgraded upon arrival. The attention to detail in this resort is unmatched. I've stayed at numerous Four Seasons Resort in Maldives & their 5 star customer service was the same. We never had to asked for anything except maybe for more beautiful scented oil they leave by the bed. It's suppose to help sooth & relax you before bed. It was fabulous and the little touches like a nice chilled fresh coconut water they have waiting for you after a rafting trip. Wow! What service and we will definitely come back. Oh by the way don't miss the resort tour it was great!

We wanted to treat ourselves to a beautiful hotel experience and whilst the setting was incredible and the staff were lovely, our treatment room was a small area with glazed windows that we could not see out of. We could have been in a cheap, local spa with the same result. Our two manicure and pedicures cost nearly $250 Australian dollars and one has already chipped. Overall very underwhelming and disappointing.

Everything about this hotel is above & beyond! The hotel is in pristine condition and surrounded by a lush landscape guaranteed to connect your spirit with nature. You will fall in love with the Balinese people and the genuine pride they take in sharing their culture and traditions. Exceeding your expectations while anticipating your every need is clearly what they are going for. Take advantage of the spa, do as many sunrise yoga classes as you can, let the guides take you on a private rafting trip down the Ayung River and meditate. The sounds of nature create a true sense of harmony. We travel often, but words can't even describe this location. Breathtaking.

I came here first 15 years ago and had a coffee and always wanted to come back to stay here. And I do not regret. 3 nights though are too short to do all the things you must do. What stands out at this Hotel is its service which is unparalleled compared to other Hotels even in Asia. My wife left her Channel Jacket in the plane coming into Denpasar. The FS did everything to manage getting it back. We stayed in a Villa which was just so wonderful main advantage is the privacy you will have. Their Pool is gorgeous right next to the river. Service also here was impeccable. Fittnes center overlooking river etc. just awesome. All the staff where so accommodating. And their friendliness was truly genuine. This resort is something very special. We will return!

At the risk of repeating the countless raving reviews, Four Seasons Sayan was the perfect location for a getaway vacation. Located in the heart of the jungle, we were in awe the moment we arrived... walking across the elevated wooden bridge from the drop off area to the main building (which has an enormous lily pond as a roof). Our objective was to stay close to Ubud and wanted to make sure that our lodging was perfect and worry free. At the Four Seasons Sayan, "perfect and worry free" are understatements. We arrived late in Bali (around midnight) and wanted a seamless transport to the resort. Four Seasons helped to setup transport and we were very glad to do so as our driver provided us a crash course on Balinese culture. We arrived approximately an hour later and were greeted with several Four Seasons employees who all addressed us by name and provided a great deal of information for the early hour. A few minutes after arriving at our room, we were greeted by staff who apologized for the dining areas being closed and was presented with a delicious plate of spring rolls with a lovely welcome note from the food and beverage manager. And the stay went on like that. Another manager greeted us at breakfast and made sure that our first night went well. All of the employees we met were friendly and always asked us for our names. It's remarkable how quickly the staff started to address us by name as we walked by. The grounds are beautiful and one could spend hours walking the resort. Even though we made regular trips to Ubud via the free shuttle provided, we ate several fantastic meals at the resort which are highly recommended. We took part in several activities provided by the resort which were all memorable. The temple tour was an insightful glimpse into the religious side of the island. The complimentary meditation (my first, by the way) was amazing and even taught by a former monk. Throw in the special dinners, Balinese dances and mountain bike tours and you'll never want to leave! Simply stated, Four Seasons Sayan provided extraordinary experiences... ones we hope to repeat here again soon.

But I will try! We only went for lunch as we were staying at the Mansion and the Concierge told us to go. Fantastic views of the river. Beautiful grounds. Manicured lawns. Staff were out of this world - so friendly and helpful even though we were visitors. We sat in the pool cafe and vowed to go back and stay. They even took us back to the road (steep hill) by cart.

We loved this resort - we visited with our kids 6 and 9 years of age. This resort is what made our kids fall in love with Bali. We did a private village walk because our kids were too young for the resort scheduled walk. It was amazing and so informative. We also went white water rafting which was so tame and perfect for our young family. Finally, we hired a private guide to visit the local sites with a driver from the four seasons. We had a great time visiting the rice terraces, local temples, monkey forest, coffee tasting, etc. The food at resort was great and the general manager was so nice and friendly. In fact, all the staff were wonderful and really make the resort special.

Difficult to put the entire experience into words. It is a trip worth making and a hotel definitely worth staying at. If you are looking for peace, tranquility and serenity with DIVINE food, this is it! Yoga with Lily was unbelievable! Fara was incredibly uplifting and her sacred nap is NOT to be missed! Romi was not only our driver but our tour guide and friend. Kerti always brought a smile to our faces and helped to plan a perfect itinerary for us. ALL the staff are incredibly friendly and really always smile - nothing is ever too much trouble. Cannot wait to go back.....

Stayed here for two nights and loved every minute of it. This property is located along the Ayung River with the attending beauty of its lush greenery and river flowing alongside it. Four Seasons have put in considerable effort to maintain working paddy fields and also several types of fruit trees and vegetable plants - all of this makes it a really nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bali. The rooms are great. I stayed in a duplex suite which had high ceilings and lovely glass windows and doors. Staff are very friendly and provided great service as you would expect at a Four Season resort. The hotel is just 15 mins away from the Royal Palace and Ubud center where you can visit many shops and cafes. Overall great place and highly recommmeded.

Great Hotel, great service, great atmosphere. Concierge and staff are very well trained. Food and facilities are awesome. If you are looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy your vacations 100%, this is the place you are looking for.
