D'Wina Villa Kuta4.0 out of 5.0

Two young friends booked a week at these villas and were given a villa with a green filthy slushy pool they could not use, no hot water, mould on the walls and doors that did not lock. When asked to reimburse the girls so they could stay elsewhere the manager said he could not do that and offered one night at another villa. Too little too late. Terrible villa. Unscrupulous manager. Beware
This villa is well designed and beautifully furnished It has great kitchen/living area, big bedrooms and good outdoor area. It's close to Dwi Sri and if your on a motor bike is close to kuta and Legian The staff were lovely and very helpful Great value
Pro : helpful and friendly staff. Large accommodation and suitable for large group/family even you can host a family gathering. The breakfast was cooked in the villa. Con : double story villa with master room on the first floor. Need to go upstairs for sleeping and bathing. No toilet on the ground floor.
Cleanliness: 3/5 Design: 3/5 Facilities: 4/5 Staffs: 4.5/5 Location: 3/5 *off of the main road, and right behind a club.. you can clearly hear musics playing loud. need to go by car/motorbike to grab some snacks, foods, etc. Too dark to walk there* Have to give 3 out of 5 bcause d'wina should take an extra time to deep-clean their villas. For us, this is the major part of a hotel to be concerned about. Issues: -Quite annoyed to walk barefoot around the villa. Feel sandy and dusty. -Some of the kitchen appliances are also dirty, they didnt even clean used microwave. -Slippery pool-tiles and around pool, i injured after fell of the stepping stone beside the pool (yeah, i was like all wet after swimming, but my point is that the stepping stones cant hold water and it got too slippery to step on), they sure have to put waterproof stones/tiles, or clean it better. -too bad they have to put their first aid kit stuffs (bandages, etc) in a plastic bag like they just bought it from some store (and... nope, almost all is half-full). Would be better if they put it in a decent box or something. (Just saying as an esthetical matters) -Its a small villas complex, yes. They wont bother to use walky-talky to talk to other staff, yes. buuuuttt i dont think shouting to others asking for help was the right thing. And it can lasts for minute due to the misscommunication and missheard. Plus: -private pool is big enough -complete kitchenware -attentive staffs *they asked -again- bout my legs when we check out* thanks. :) -private -5mins drive to legian kuta, 10mins to seminyak, and just right next to jalan dewi sri, where all the good foods are. Would still recommend this villa for friends and/or families. Hope you can fix these issues.
Where do I start... We stayed here for 9 night and had hardly any issues After a 5hr flight with a near 1yr old coming through arrivals and seeing our name on the sign clearly and quickly was a welcome relief Upon arrival at the villa we had no problems checking in and it was very fast with our bags being carried to our room. First night we crashed out in about half hour. There was some loud music from a nearby club but wasn't as bad as other reviews make out. Day 2 we were greeted with breakfast cooked in our room which was ok not great but still nice. We decided to eat out for breakfast most other days ( recommend grain cafe in Seminyak) When we returned our room was cleaned ( you guys with kids know how fast it can get dirty) spent most of that day in the pool with our daughter We ordered dinner off the menu that was in the room. No fault to the staff but the food was bad. As they don't have a restaurant on site all food is ordered in. We decided to order pizza from Pizza Hut... The staff happily ordered for us as we had no idea how to do it 2pizzas cost us about $17 delivered plus a tip for the staff for helping. On the Friday (day 5) it was our daughters first birthday one of the amazing staff had gone and got a birthday cake and came sung happy birthday to our daughter which was an amazing surprise (sorry I forgot your name but it was greatly appreciated). About day 6 we had no water for about 10 mins but was quickly rectified so no real issue. All in all they made my first trip to Bali extremely enjoyable and we will be staying here again THANK YOU
At first impressions the staff were wonderful very nice, it was a beautiful place the room was amazing, having a private pool was also plus. After staying a few nights the faults begun to pile up. The first three days we had no hot water even after telling the reception multiple times, the toilet in the main bathroom was blocked and leaking all over the floor we finally got that fixed day two. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in (extremely hard), i probably would have had a better sleep on the couch at least it was soft. If you want sleep i would recommend staying elsewhere as there is a nightclub close by that has loud bass pumping all through the night from 10pm to about 4-5am my partner is a light sleeper and woke up every night. The villa is also situated in a back street so really not ideal as you cant wait anywhere for a meal and good luck finding a taxi driver that knows where they are going we had them driving around for more then 15min a few times. I would really not recommend ordering the room service either it was such a big disappointment the meals were soggy and small as they dont have a restaurant on site they order it from elsewhere and by the time it gets to your room its cold. The only thing that was decent enough to eat was the fries which cost $4 for about a handful. Just overall a real disappointment especially being my fiances first time to Bali.
The pool was big. Has a fully equipped kitchen. Staff manage to check us in early as requested. Though it's a bit dark to walk out from villa, the staff always help us out to call a taxi. Everytime we complain about anything they are always prompt on making it right. Will definitely come back again!
Stayed for 5 nights. Got an early check in as requested. Superb service from all the staffs. Able to accommodate all our request. Although, place is a bit far from the main streets, got ourself a motorbike which the hotel assist in getting it so it's not bad. I'll be back.
We actually booked at Asuri Villas but unfo there was a problem with the booking.. We were transfered to D'Wina Villa. We didn't mind cause we were told that it's completely the same with Asuri Villas - same owner. We loved it so much! The ambiance is so relaxing.. Love the interior too! Only thing we didnt like is the location. The street is too dark and creepy to walk to the main road.
This place offers an excellent stay. The hospitality is great, separate villas with extreme privacy, Swimming pool at the center adds grace and feeling of luxury to the villa Morning breakfast service is outstanding,
