Location and views

We loved staying at Moonview! The short ride or walk to East Beach was perfect for us. The house is well-equipped with bicycles, chairs, and more. There was ample room for 3 adults and 3 teenagers, too. We couldn’t see too many stars do to weather, but still really enjoyed the unique top deck which provided wonderful 360 degree views of the island.

Great location

House was clean and exceeded our expectations by far! So much more than in the description! Fully stocked kitchen with spices and more! Beach toys, boogie boards, and a 6 seater golf cart plus a 4 seater to fit the whole family! Great covered porches and close to the beach and shoals club!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had two families so the two master suites were perfect! We enjoyed the upper deck in the evening star gazing and this place is so close to East Beach for surfing and late afternoons at Shoals. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bar ice maker even worked! We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to BHI for many years and Moonview is our favorite rental so far. It's spacious, bright and airy and minutes from East Beach and the Shoals Club. The photos don't do it justice. There are several high end features - a jetted tub, Viking stove, and double dishwasher. Any problems we reported were addressed within an hour.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great and there was plenty of room for our family. There were damp linens in the dryer when we arrived and a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. The top dishwasher would not work. We notified the office who said they would send someone, but no one ever came so we hand washed dishes the entire week. The locks did not work on the outside doors (with the exception of the front door) which made it challenging with toddlers. We did appreciate the baby gate, highchair and pack and play that was available. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean.
