We thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend on Bailey Island. The condo was clean and new, very nicely furnished. It was a quiet easy to access property, very good experience.

Relaxing experience!

We felt "at home" in Mackerel Cove at this MaineStay property. The communications from the property owners was exceptional and we would highly recommend to any couple looking for a quick getaway!

Absolutely stunning little working waterfront cove! The views around this island are wonderful, friendly locals and the condo was perfect for 2 people. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy our stay on the Maine coast!

We had a wonderful stay at this Vrbo in Maine. The property was exactly as pictured—no surprises, just what we hoped for. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. We had a great time at the condo. The location was great. It’s possible to just head out for a day of activities within an hour of the condo. It was very clean and organized. Would recommend!

Lovely, clean, perfect stay on Bailey Island!

This condo was exactly as advertised: beautiful water views, fully appointed, sparkling clean in a gorgeous fishing village. The hosts were super helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. Highlights were hiking Giant’s Stairs, the view at Dolphin Marina, scones at Salt Cod Cafe. We wish we’d done the lobster boat tour! Great day trips to Boothbay Arboretum, Freeport, Brunswick, and Bath. Evenings on the deck were the best way to end the day!

A nice condo right in Mackerel Cove. Wake each morning to the lobster bots heading out. A well appointed condo, great for one or two people. Terrific communication from the management team. I would highly recommend.

Great location and very clean

Great place. Clean as a whistle. Fabulous view. I wish the no smoking policy included the decks since we had to close our window and door when neighbor smoked. Kitchen had everything we needed but the knives need a sharpening. 😁

Wonderful relaxing stay

The Bailey Island condo was exactly as pictured on line, but areas that weren’t shown were impressive as well. The Condo was absolutely spotless, comfy bed, and had everything needed. Everything was organized and uncluttered so there was plenty of room for our stuff. The view was fantastic. We spent every morning and evening on the deck watching the lobstermen do what they do ☺️. Glens lobster was a short walk down the road, they pulled the lobsters from the water when u buy them. I would give the condo and the area more than 5 stars. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

Charming Condo with Beautiful Views and Perfect Location!

Highly recommend! We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! It was beautifully styled, with lots of charming touches that made it feel like a cozy home away from home. We were provided with plenty of towels, which was a nice bonus, and the deck and balcony offered stunning views at any time of day—truly a highlight of our stay. The location was ideal: there were multiple great places to eat nearby, offering a variety of dining options, but the area itself was peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxation. There were also plenty of activities to enjoy, but we never felt overwhelmed by crowds or noise. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Their attention to detail and care really stood out. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this condo to any couple looking to experience the serenity and beauty of the area.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited from October 7 and left October 10. Our unit was very clean and the view was amazing. Everything was nice except we had no heat and customer service is lacking. We tried for three weeks before our trip to get in touch with customer service about our credit card and never got a call back or any response. While visiting we contacted the owners and never received a text back. Other than lack of customer service this place is amazing.

A Charming Accommodation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a comfortable and attractive condo for one or two people. It is relatively new so all furnishings etc are it great condition. I stayed alone and really used it more as a hotel room than a cottage so can’t really comment much regarding the cooking facilities.. The view is lovely and mostly very quiet. I loved hearing the fishing boats coming and going and coffee on the balcony in the early morning was one of my favourite experiences at the condo. It is located in a favourite part of the area but is over an hour to my favourite beaches, Popham and Reid State Park. Despite that I would book the condo again and I would definitely prefer staying at the condo to staying at a hotel.
