I stayed for one night. The room was cold you could use the ac for heating but it was very loud and made a bad smell in the room and the room was still cold (had to use double blankets for night). The towels are used and not clean there are spots all over them I could find only one which seemed more or less acceptable. The breakfast is moderate but avoid the coffee because it taste terrible. On the plus side the staff is really good and helpful.

It's a hotel quite old but clean and well maintained. The rooms are not very big, but they are comfortable. Good wifi. The bathroom is a little small. The staff is very polite, but the person at reception made a confusion with my bill at the closing and I payed more then it supposed to be. The breakfast is good, but very romanian (fat things). If you need to wash clothes, it's a good moment: it's cheap.

I want to congratulate the cook and the waiters. Everything I ate there, it was really tasty and served with a smile. From outside, the hotel is not so inviting; inside, is nice (not the most modern hotel in Romania, but quite good for Baia Mare). It was clean, quiet and the warmth of everybody from the reception and restaurant made my experience very pleasant. I recommend this hotel for everybody ! After dinner, I took a walk, on a large street with many chestnuts, to the closest supermarket (approx. 20 minutes). Very peaceful city, quiet and charming.

Most reviewers have struggled to find much of interest to say about this place. It’s a dull coach-tour/business hotel in a town probably with few choices. Our room was OK, but made to feel small with too much unnecessary bulky furniture, but everything worked except for the droppy wi-fi. Breakfast was average – no fruit except water melon. Nevertheless the grim-faced omelette lady did her stuff. The hotel is well located about fifteen minutes’ walk from the old town square, where there are a few dining options.

Unfortunately you don't have many options for good hotels in Baia-Mare and almost every time when I traveled there I choose this hotel because I tried other 4 hotels and were worst than this. The rooms are small but were clean all the time, the staff was friendly and the breakfast average- not so good for vegetarians.

had a sweet. plenty of room. the outside isn't much to look at but inside is very classy. nice people great restaurant and bar.the buffet breakfast is great. checked aeound and it's the best place in town

They organize weddings in the hotel, music was too loud and you cannot sleep. I had to leave the hotel to go somewhere else. Completelly careless with the hotel guests. Old stile buildings an rooms, dark instead of light. Unfortunatelly there are not many alternatives in Baia Mare. Ask before if they have weddings or other events organized...

Excellent value in this clean and very nice hotel right next to the old town. We chose a superior room which was very large with a sitting area and a large built in desk. There were 2 complete bathrooms which was unusual but very nice. Sort of art deco decoration. The staff were always friendly and we had a nice lunch and breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Being able to walk across a bridge to the old town was the best feature and having on site parking was a big plus also.

We visited the the begining of october. Staff nice, parking in front of the hotel, clean rooms, air conditioning, big tv, 80 cm, clean bathroom with shaving kit, dental kit, sewing kit. I recommend!

Good hotel with comfortable rooms, very well located Very good breakfast buffet, good restaurant. No weapons allowed 😆 Friendly staff. Parking and wifi are free of charge. There is a summer terrace. Rooms are cleaned every day. Mini bar is very well equipped.
