The hotel location was very convenient, staff extremely helpful. The room is very simple, small-ish, but sufficient for solo traveller who does not stay inside much.

Great location!

Location is great, Avignon isn’t huge so everything was within 10-15 minutes walk max. It’s right down the alley from great restaurants, but isn’t too noisy. Came during summer so was glad there was air conditioning! Felt safe in the area even as a female solo traveller. Only thing is that there are no lifts, and no rooms on ground floor so be prepared to carry your luggage up some stairs. Parking is either 20 euros/day at Parking Jean Jaures (3 min walk) or the hotel has an affiliation with another carpark (5 min walk) for 12 euros a day.

Excellent location - can trundle from station in about 7 minutes. Our downstairs room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Great eating places at the end of the street - especially Cafe Pili and Ginwtte & Marcel Very reasonable basic breakfast for 5 euros Mariam on reception was delightful and helpful.

Quaint and charming but oh those stairs!

Basic 2 star hotel in a very quiet and convenient location handy for the station and all the sights of Avignon. However there is no lift so if you are not young, fit and travelling light ask for a room on the first floor! Our third floor room was very well equipped, even a kettle, a real rarity in French hotels. The layout did leave a bit to be desired, the room was so long and thin that not only was the double bed only accessible from one side but there wasn't even room to get a suitcase past it. It did have a certain charm though.

Pleasantly surprised by my three night stay at this 2 star hotel. It's ideally situated near to the palace des papes, decent restaurants and Avignon central train station. My single ensuite room was quiet,clean and comfortable with lots of natural light and good air conditioning. There was good storage, a desk and chair and kettle, mini fridge, safe, hairdryer and lots of plug sockets. The continental breakfast was nice with fresh croissant, baguette, jam, cheese, oj and hot drink. The building is old and quirky but appears to have recently had a fresh lick of paint and new soft furnishings. The staff were polite and helpful. As a solo traveller I felt very safe here. The biggest downside is the lack of lift as navigating the old staircase with a large suitcase feels rather treacherous. But very good value and would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant stay

Yes some of the fittings are a bit basic, but don't be put off, it all work well and it's clean, plus the staff are faultless. Located inside the city walls and only 400 yards from the station, all the city attractions are easily walked to.

Nice hotel close to the station and various place

This hotel is very convenient and close to both the station, various historical places and restaurants. There are a kettle with an instant coffee and a hairdryer in the room. Of course, free wifi is OK. The breakfast is a continental breakfast and nice.

A very nice couple owns this small inn within the walled town right next to a lovely church. It's in a lovely location. There is no elevator, but other than that an easy place to stay with a very accommodating and knowledgeable staff.

So so hotel.

Pros: Great location, good bedding.you get a discount for the parking. Cons: economy single room is very small, And bathroom has a bad smell. Althoug I moved to an other room that did not have such a bad smell.The view is not great neither. You need to park far from the hotel. The owner will ask you to walk long distances with your luggages. The rooms lack warm and devoration. Good luck.

Friendly and authentically French

Arriving on the TGV, the hotel was conveniently close to the station and also the town. The staff are really helpful and some speak good English. The beds were comfortable and a genuine twin room. We overlooked the local park and the room was quiet apart from the occasional plumbing gurgle. I would strongly suggest getting the breakfast as this was delicious and filling for a really good price. Access to Place Les Corps Saints at the end of the road provided an excellent choice of varied restaurants and cafes for the evening. Shower would be snug if you were larger and the stairs would not be easy for disabilities. Overall we had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends or return.

Hôtel bien situé. Excellent petit déjeuner, chambre petite et un peu vieillotte, mais propre, avec une bonne literie, et bien insonorisée. Personnel disponible, et a l'écoute du client.
