Satisfactory Stay

Property was clean and as described except for the fact this property is no longer waterfront. The dock is destroyed and not functional. Water cannot be seen from the property. Overall not a bad place to stay if you are visiting Lake Travis if your options are limited.

Cute house but not the stay we wanted

Before the check-in the owner communicated through the app and all was good. I was never given any instructions to communicate differently. Check in instructions came through and were easy to follow. We wanted to experience Austin but also have a chill day on the water. We specifically chose to be further out as this house advertised that it was water front and included tubes, kayaks, etc. We get there and find out there is a drought and there is zero water like the pics show. I understand this is not something the owner can control but putting a warning or communicating that information to someone who is not from the area would have been helpful. Once we went down to the area the water should have been we started to question a dock that was not in front of their property. It was off to the left a bit and there was a few inches of water so we thought maybe if we walked over there we would find deeper water to float in. I messaged the owner within an hour of us arriving asking if that was his deck as we didn’t want to accidentally be on someone else’s property and since there was a drought everything looked much different then the pictures online. I never received a response. If we would have known we couldn’t enjoy that part of the house we would have rented somewhere closer to downtown where we spent most of our time. The house was cute & clean but it does have an odor like sewage that was very off putting. I personally would not rent here again, unfortunately.

Wonderful lake getaway

We had a wonderful experience here. The location is fantastic and I'm sure it's even better when the lake level is higher. Beautiful and quiet and safe neighborhood. The owners were always immediately available if we needed anything, which we didn't because everything was perfect. Thank you for a great weekend getaway!

Nice Short Retreat on Lake Travis

Perfect for a three day get away to Lake Travis. The dock was great for tying off jet skiis for a few days on the water. This deep water cove is protected and has no waves from main lake but still great for small watercraft.

Peaceful and Fun

This is a great little house with lake access. The owners are great and quick to respond to questions and needs. We were so excited when there were deer just hanging in the front yard. It was a great trip.

Great Location, Great Communications, Thank you.

This was a great place to stay and to have colleagues over for a day. There is plenty of parking, open space inside, and a great deck with plenty of room and a beautiful view. The hosts communicated frequently and answered questions promptly. The use of the kayaks and paddleboards was a nice bonus. Thank you again, I would recommend and will plan on coming back.

Fanatastic place to relax and/or have a lot of fun!!

We had an amazing time during our stay. Proximity to the lake is one reason this place is dope but also the beds are comfortable, the shower is amazing and we had everyrhing we needed. The deck was a great spot for a morning meditation and workout with a view. Austin and Ashley also respond very quickly to messages. We will definitely come back!

Perfect and dreamy!

We stayed here with our two dogs and have only positive, wonderful things to say about this place! Absolutely loved the house, the amenities, the views, the sounds of nature, and the location. The hosts were incredible with communication and made everything so seamless. Beyond grateful they decided to share this gem of a getaway.

The home and grounds were perfectly maintained. The home was like new and had everything we needed from decaf coffee to luxurious shower supplies. Beds were super comfortable. Owners were quick to reply at every step. Overall, it was a great stay!!!

Great property for a short getaway.

This property is nicely and privately tucked away, so you won’t be bothered. All the amenities you could want. Beds are very comfortable, and rooms stay dark and cool even in the Texas summer. Only warning I would give is to be careful on the trek down to the water.

Wonderful private getaway

The property and home are incredibly cute and well decorated. Great vibes! The beds are extremely comfy! The mermaid shower is amazing! Everything was very clean! It was an extremely hot weekend and the owners were kind enough to bring another portable AC. They were very kind and helpful for our entire stay! We were able to dock our seadoos at their dock and take off anytime we wanted! The walk down to the lake and private dock is a beautiful little hike, maybe a difficult one for little kids or the elderly. The water was blue and beautiful. It was too hot to enjoy the deck and picnic table this time around but we’ll definitely be back soon when the Texas heat takes a little break! Thanks again for everything guys!

Fabulous!

From start to finish our experience was phenomenal. Communication with owner was great and was quick to get questions answered before, during and after our stay! The home is immaculate, truly feels like stepping into a magical place, the home just begs you to relax and rewind. Well appointed with anything you could need throughout your stay from forks and pans to tubes and kayaks! We are grateful for the experience and will be keeping it on the list for another stay!
