A beautifully culturally designed interior from carpets to decor which reflects Aotearoa, esp for first-time visitors. My room was a good size with a comfy bed. A self-check in/out kiosk was avail and convenient. Friendly and very helpful staff. Suggestion: more signage in Rooms hallways directing to Reception, please. I only came across one map and got lost :(

we stayed for one night spread across 4 rooms. We wanted to be near the airport which it is. Beds were very comfortable. Busy place and very friendly staff. We had breakfast downstairs that was nice. the coffee from machine was not hot so staff made barista coffees for us. no lift to 2 level that's ok for us but others may need lift. I like the resort vibe of the hotel venue although the carpet needs replacing. time to brighten up the venue as it's got a lot going for it.

Liked the lotions in the bathroom, they all smelt really good. Didn't like the unclean toilet (poop smear left around bowl which hadn't been scrubbed off). Too tired to complain at the time as checked in at 11pm. Room service NOT 24/7. Room service QR code off TV didn't work so phoned up to get menu info and place order. 3/4 hr later (midnight) phoned them to cancel it as I needed to sleep. Ordered room service breakfast for in the morning only to find that the items I received had come from the buffet which was out at 5am and my food arrived at 7:30am. Will not be going back and definitely won't be recommending Holiday Inn to anyone.

Staff was great! It was tidy and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good although a few of the baked foods weren't fresh. We were woken in the night by other guests being loud for some time before we alerted reception. The beds were not fantastic, but ok, although with the interruption in the night we didn't sleep well.

The hotel is like a little jungle between a big city, with a lot of nature that makes you feel vibrante and at the same time relaxed. Make your reservation with beackfast and dinner included. They have a buffet that is really good. It also has a shuttle that you have to pay for or have the uber app that is really convenient in New Zeland.
