The title says it all. It is Centre Parks in France for golf enthusiast with families they do not know what to do with, whilst they are out playing golf with their friends without their families. Facilities great for young children that like to run riot. Food ok, service quite good, rooms ok. I'm not a golf player with a family so do not want to be harsh.
We only stayed here for one night on the way to Versailles. The hotel is located near / in a forest and has some nice surroundings therefore. The rooms were clean, the beds great. The staff was not very welcoming and we also had to wait for over 1.5 hours until we got our seat in the restaurant, even though several tables were free. So don't forget to make a reservation when you want to have dinner. Also, WiFi wasn't always available in the room and if it was available, it was very slow. As for the short stay, we could not test the spa and gold course, so this hotel might be better when the stay is longer – as it was very quiet due to the location. And the pool table in the lobby also is a nice thing.
A relaxing place to stay not only for holiday purposes but also when you are traveling from the South of France to the north or to the ferries at Calais. The hotel is clean, the rooms are quite big. The golf course on the premises is really nice to play. A spa and a restaurant complete the facilities of the hotel. A rather big indoor swimming pool is available and the kids will also love the little playground. The restaurant offers you good food, well prepared and tasty. A good price/performance relatio as well. A choice of some good wines is availed for very reasonable prices. Parking and WiFi are for free. The staff is very friendly and the service is very good. Nice relaxing ambiance.
good sized room with all facilities in a quiet location. Only downside was A.C. which switched off during night and then can on again reset at 23.5C. Comfy bed. Not enough milk or sugar - 2 milks and 2 sugars for 6 coffees and 4 teas - doesn't make sense
We stayed here en-route to Calais, and what a great place it is. Very peaceful location. Huge, spotless room, comfortable bar, polite staff and immaculate outside spaces. We had dinner in the restaurant. Good service and superb food. It seemed a bit pricey at first glance but the quality was amazing. If you are a light eater consider skipping starters as they are more like a main. I would definitely stay again.
Served child only starter. Gave me cheese on burger. No apologies. Awful service. When I refused to pay for the child's meal the waiter chased me to reception and eventually the receptionist in absence of the manager agreed I should not pay 13 euros for half a bowl of salad. EAT HERE AT YOUR PERIL.
Stayed here for one night en route to Spain. Very nice hotel. Staff were helpful, room clean and the restaurant food was really good. Beautiful location - ddad not stay long enough for my husband to try the course!
We originally were driving back from the south of France and were supposed to be staying at a little resort midway which turned out to be the most hideous place ever so we left immediately and headed back to Calais, we needed a place to stay for the night and luckily this was available last minute! This hotel and the staff are really lovely, after feeling fairly tired we were given a lovely family room which had 2 large double beds one being upstairs. It was a massive room and exactly what I needed! We stayed for breakfast the next day and it was lovely, staff were great and would recommend especially if you love golf!
We were a group passing though en route to Italy. On arrival the building looked imposing and the reception clean and welcoming and the staff could not have been more helpful. However, in the 10 rooms we occupied, no one had a working air conditioning and the day time temp was 32C and the group meal in the evening was a set menu of fish or lamb and no one finished their plate, it was horrible. At least the wine flowed well
If your travelling through France this hotels lies about 5 hours from Clais. Although a little out of the way it's a lovely area to look around. The hotel is nicely appointed. The staff are very nice. The restaurant is good. The bar is comfortable to unwind after the drive. The rooms with the mezzanine floor for a bedroom are great. It has pleasant grounds to walk in.
