Vacation house
This house is spacious and relatively clean and comfortable. Suggest bringing all cleaning supplies including cleaning spray, paper towels, and trash bags as the house offered limited supply. The location is residential and in walking distance to some stores and an ice cream shop. The pool is smaller than it looks in pictures. Adding the pool dimensions to the listing would help. There is no view of the pool from inside the house. There isnt much of a view from any window at all. I guess this is good for privacy but definitely doesnt give a scenic vacation house vibe. The backyard was comfortable although the pool filter wasn’t functioning properly during our stay. The property manager fixed it the next morning but we did miss some time in the pool and the water definitely needed more chemicals. The dryer wasn’t functioning properly and wasn’t able to dry the pool towels. The game area is nice, although it is not in an air conditioned part of the house - so it was very warm in there during the July stay. The house is located just over the bridge from OC NJ so it’s a quick drive to beach and boardwalk. Also be aware that you will be asked for drivers license at check in before getting the entry code. This was a bit late in the process as we already were 2 hours into the drive and were having trouble with the vrbo app sending a photo of the license. Unnecessary stress. Overall this is a good house with comfortable accommodations and the property manager was responsive.
