Don’t get a King Bed Room if you are Plus Size!
This is a beautiful, clean, new, luxurious, safe hotel. It is in a safe neighborhood and is close to both Zoo Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium.
There are several restaurants 5–10 minutes, walking distance, including the Hard Rock Cafe. I didn’t like any of them.
They currently only clean the rooms every other day. That’s fine, but I was not told that at check-in.
I got a King Size room. Since I wastraveling solo, I did not want to be wasteful and get two Queen Size beds, even though it was th same price.
There was barely any room on both sides of the bed which is fine. I am a travel blogger, and have experienced that all over the world.
However, the door opened inward into the bathroom. So every time I walked into the bathroom I had to decide if I wanted the door handle or the sink to press into my stomach. And the toilet was so low to the ground. I had a hard time getting down and then back up.
The restaurant is more like a bar that serves a few food items. I wouldn’t bother getting dinner there unless it’s raining or you just don’t have time to go to a restaurant. They don’t serve lunch.
There are several great items on the breakfast menu including oatmeal, fruit, breakfast burritos, bagels, etc.
There is no sign-up that gives the restaurant hours. The sign in the elevator incorrectly states that breakfast ends at 10 AM on weekdays and 11 AM on weekends.
That is not correct and management is aware of it but has not change the sign yet.
