Esta hermosa casa estilo bungalow de 2 camas / 2 baños estilo bungalow de los años 40 está ubicada cerca de parques y autopistas principales. La casa está construida en la década de 1940, por lo que se aplica una cantidad estricta de huéspedes. La casa es muy tranquila, privada, relajante y tiene entrada privada cerrada. Perfect vacation house! Close enough to anything you want to do in Atlanta yet secluded enough to not even know your in the big city! Lots of outdoor space! Beautiful pool! Kids enjoyed the game room! We had the best time this week!

Ideal and safe location

This property was exactly as described. We never felt “unsafe” in the area the property is located. The owners made sure we felt incredibly welcome and at home, even checking in halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. We have rented multiple VRBO homes and this is the first time the owners checked in so for me this was a huge plus. We were there from the west coast for a College tour with our daughter and two of her best friends. We found it to be a short drive to Six Flags, Truist Park, the World of Coca Cola, and many other areas of interest. This will be our go to VRBO when visiting our daughter when she attends school in Georgia in 2024. The teens enjoyed the game room, late night chats at the fire pit, and of course the pool, we never got the “we are bored can we go to the mall” during our stay. If you’re looking for a place to stay where you can feel at “home” while away from your own, this is it!!

Amazing family friendly property

We had the best time at this property. Nichola was wonderful and so accommodating our entire stay. So comfortable and the location is near so many things. Our kids enjoyed the pool the most! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Weekend with Friends; not great for little kids

I have spent a long time considering what to say in this review. We traveled to the Atlanta area with our two small children to spend a weekend with family and friends. There were 6 adults and 2 children total. I did inform the owner before we arrived we may have had another adult but she was not able to take off work to join us. I was thankful for the space and amenities of this rental. However, there were some things that did not work well for us; perhaps, a different group of renters would have been a better fit for this particular property. Specifically, there was too much decor for our kids. The owners did a good job of making sure we had everything we could need to stay comfortably. But, there was too much stuff one every surface. We had to work really hard to watch our children in every room at all times to make sure none of their decor was broken or moved. The owners should decorate how they see fit in their property, but other renters especially ones with smaller children should know I felt like I never got to relax in the space. Next, there was a lot of air freshener throughout the rental specifically upstairs. I would guess perhaps another renter smoked at one point and the owners were trying to cover the smell? Two of our party have allergies to perfumes and it was hard for them in certain areas of the house. Finally, there were several steps we had to complete to let the owner know who was at the rental, what car they drove, and we even had to send every person's driver's license and vehicle description. I understand making sure the owner is aware of who is staying at their property but I have stayed in several rentals and this seemed excessive. The owner did communicate via the VRBO app. There is a camera on the property to monitor who is there and which vehicles are parked in the driveway. It was a huge bonus to have a working dishwasher to wash all of the baby bottles throughout the stay. We enjoyed our weekend together but I believe this rental would be better for older children who don't require so much supervision.

Great stay!

Greta location! Only took 23 minutes to get to the zoo and aquarium. The kids loved the pool, game room, and the space outside to run around. Plenty of space for sleeping arrangements. There were cold bottles of water waiting for us in the fridge which were amazing after a long day of travel! Will definitely stay again next time we are in Atlanta!

Guys weekend

6 guys went over to Atlanta for a Braves game and golf to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday. The house was great and the pool was wonderful. Definitely recommend this property.

Fun Family Getaway

We loved staying at Hideaway Ranch! We were visiting Atlanta to meet up with some family and wanted a place to relax and catch up. This was the perfect location! It was very clean and we had plenty of space to hang out inside and outside. We spent most of our time outside on the large deck and around the pool and pool area. It is a really nice pool with a huge patio and a lot of seating around the pool. The kids and adults really enjoyed this stay. The property owner was very attentive and responded quickly to my questions. If we ever make it back to Atlanta, this is definitely where we would like to stay!

We loved our stay in the cottage. It was a comfortable retreat after touring around Georgia.

The pool deck was beautifully laid out. It felt like a high end hotel. The pool was large and we had fun with the hoop and slide. The shade was very nice too. The cottage was updated and the rooms were very comfortable. It was a bonus to have a game room in the basement.

Almost perfect...

This property was a summer escape for us so that the kids could enjoy "swimming to their hearts' desire." The house is obviously older, and the owners have been updating and decorating it nicely, but it definitely has a "patchwork" feel to the architecture. Bed linens and towels were clean, and there were plenty of towels available. We did not find bedding for the futon, so our kids weren't able to share the room as they had hoped. Cleanliness of the property was fair, but there was evidence of a few pests and two of the "r" word in the house. We loved how private this property felt, especially given that it is on a main road. Even with road construction, it was a peaceful location. The pool was great, and the kids really enjoyed it. Pool towels are available. There were plenty of patio chairs, so as the sun moved across the pool, you could continue finding a sunny spot most of the day. Most of the seating is lacking cushions, unlike the photos in the listing. The pool is about 8 feet deep, not 12 as the listing states. The biggest disappointment for us was that the kitchen was lacking a lot of essentials. The "Kitchen" section of the description lists an ice maker, toaster, blender, and dishes & utensils (among other basics). All of these items were either missing or severely lacking. If you are travelling with more than 3-4 people, you will need to supplement several items. There are 3 bowls, 3 mugs, 5 forks, 3 knives. There isn't a single dish that can be used in the oven (we had to purchase a cookie/pizza sheet just to toast some bread in the oven). There are several skillets, though only a few of them are usable on the flat stove. There were a few indoor and outdoor games provided in addition to the arcade games, which were a hit with the kids. Who knew they'd spend all week playing Giant Chess! Overall, we enjoyed the pool, and that is why we came; but there were definitely a few negatives for our family.

Great stay!

The property was clean and spacious enough for 10 people but definitely sleeps 8 perfectly. The game room is a nice amenity for kids. It looks just the way it does online. It was kind of hard to find the place at first using certain GPS systems but it was ok. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
