Artmore Hotel - Midtown3.5 out of 5.0

We were looking for a place that is not your standard Marriott or Hilton. The Artmore is in an old building in the heart of Atlanta Midtown; a busy place. Hallways are decorated with photos of celebrities, i.e., art. The room was large and had everything we needed; very comfortable bed, etc. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of parking, meaning that there is a $24/day fee for valet parking. Too bad that's not mentioned up front on the booking website. Also, it needs a functioning Business Center. Breakfast is a bit disappointing.
Lots of noise. Coffee maker in room was broken.
overall good experience, centrally located and warm and friendly staff
Nice boutique hotel. Bathrooms are kind of small but each room is different so that adds some character. Breakfast area in the basement could use a little more decor to make it look better. The bar ran out of various ingredients for its drinks so that was disappointing. However, I'd give this hotel another chance.
This hotel is in an excellent location in Midtown. It is across the street from the Marta station. We stayed in this hotel because we were going to a concert at the Center Stage Theater which is only one block away. It is an older hotel, but has been renovated. I had read other reviews and knew to ask for a room on the top floor looking in on the courtyard, and we weren't disappointed. The rooms are comfortable and had a refrigerator/freezer, wet bar area, and a small dining area. The bar was great with half price drinks from 4pm-6pm. The bartenders were friendly as well. Overall, a great experience.
This hotel is very convenient to downtown, easy to get to, and reasonably priced. We'll stay there again when business takes us to Atlanta.
Staff is absolutely wonderful the person at the front desk by the name of trave on was amazing and the woman in the cafeteria by the name of Miss Ellen is amazing.
This hoitel was a good vasvaslue for the price we paid and was very convenient to the venue where we attended a tennis match.
Very artsy and charming hotel. I was a little disappointed to find out about $24.00 charge for valet parking per night. I had not seen anything about that in the booking process. The hotel is obviously an older, re-purposed building. Loved relaxing in the courtyard with a glass of wine in the evenings. It was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was good.
Loved the feel and personality of the hotel. Did not love having no options for parking except for mandatory valet parking, but would enjoy staying there again despite the inconvenience.
Nice boutique hotel in good location. Friendly staff and very comfortable room.
This hotel has a very comfortable relaxed atmosphere. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Jared. He greeted me with a smile. He explained everything I asked him about and offered assistance in things I hadn't thought about. He made the process extremely easy. He spoke and checked on us every time we passed the front desk. The room was clean and inviting. Carpet was worn in spots but, everyone was so friendly that it really made it easy to accept this maintenance issue. This a great adult getaway!
Hotel was built in 1924 and has been refurbished. Still some bumps and bruises but the effort put into this "old girl" makes it a real charmer. My husband and I hope to visit again.
Hotel built in 1924. Good updates, full bar with nice patio. Comfortable seating in the courtyard / patio where you can meet for drinks and small plates of food from bar. Friendly staff and patrons. Had a very nice time visiting with other guests over drinks in this courtyard. Good buffet breakfast. Several resturants / clubs within walking distants.
Art center stop of MARTA right across street. Older hotel, completely renovated. Great breakfast.
A very enjoyable change from chain business hotel I typically stay in. Well maintained and comfortable. I especially loved the large courtyard area with comfortable seating and a fountain. It had a resort like feel and was a relaxing way to end a long day
Amazing stay!! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location.
I needed a place to stay that was close to my place of employment AND was affordable. I decided to try the Artmore and I would definitely consider this place again in the future. Very clean, comfortable, and convenient.
This was our 2nd time here and it was just as fantastic as the first. In fact, we were in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago but stayed at another high-end hotel as The Artmore was booked and to be frank, that stay was awful. The beds at the other hotel were horrible, cost per night was easily $100 more, there were far less amenities and it was LOUD. We love The Artmore and it will be our go-to hotel in Atlanta from now on. The staff is wonderful, rooms are lovely and the beds are VERY comfortable. I can't say enough good things about it! Though the building is old, it has great character and the design is great.
Hotel is great. Location is good, and staff is attentive. Only beef for business travellers is the wifi. Does not work with any modern VPN software.
