Room was grand for my one night stay. Staff were lovely and so kind. Shout out to Sarah, you were simply amazing. But what made my night was the local entertainment of dift games athlone edition in the carpark. Made my trip worth it.
I have stayed in this hotel several times on mid week work related trips, but this was my first time staying with my wife on a leisure trip, it ticks all the boxes for the work trips, a bed, tv, food, beer and a shower, for a couples weekend, it is pretty good, it felt like reasonable value for money, it's not a hotel with a view, it got a revamp recently, which makes the rooms much nicer, bar food is pretty good, not everything on the plate was at a similar temperature, but it was OK. Beer is good quality, staff are friendly. Walls are very thin, all noise from the neighbouring rooms can be heard, bed is very soft for my liking and my back was a bit sore after it, and if I was to nit pick, I could point out other minor issues, but as I said at the start, it's value for money, and I have no problem returning,
Highly recommend this hotel, great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff-can't speak highly enough about them, bedrooms have been renovated and are fabulous, bar food and overall service a definite 10/10
Stayed recently and it's a decent hotel with a good bar serving very nice food .Staff are very friendly..It is very handily situated off the Motirway.Special mention to the couple in 218 who have stamina to die for.In fairness I am only jealous.

Had a fantastic stay in this hotel recently! Everything was exceptional! From the rooms to the food to the service, I cannot fault a thing! I stayed here with a group of friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will be returning myself!
We needed to find somewhere to stay at the last minute last weekend and couldn't believe our luck to find a hotel that allowed dogs! We stayed two nights and our dog Molly was allowed to sleep in our room (we brought her bed with us). We were also lucky enough to stay in a newly renovated room which was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a good breakfast and were even allowed to have Molly join us as long as we ate in the lobby. On top of that, the staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. A little out of town but if you have a car it's well placed to drive to town, M6 or to the River Shannon and Lough Ree.
My wife and i stayed in this hotel saturday last for one night. we got married two months ago and hadnt time to get away anywhere with having two kids and working! I found that the Hotel was very dear for the price we paid 139euro for 1 night stay without breakfast. our room was ok! I had rang the week beforehand and asked a member of staff would he have a nice room for us because it was our mini moon!He said no problem. we were given a small room which no way was it a deluxe room (as paying that much and having asked for a nice room). it was small and so hot in the room.i asked a girl in reception that night for an iron to iron a t-shirt that i had only bought an hour before hand. The iron i recieved ruined the t-shirt, all dirt came out of the iron and all burnt bits. When i said it to girl and lad in reception they didnt even offer a new 1 or even a free breakfast our anything. In the room after that i thought my charger wasnt working to charge my fone, we it was the plugs in the room were faulty and the trip had switched. The room was clean thats a good point. I would not stay here again.
After a week in various hotels across the country it was a delight to finally find this place. I know it is not legal in Ireland to have outlets in the bathroom, it is for safety and I get it. But this was the first hotel we visited there that understood that you still need to look in a mirror while you style your hair outside of the bathroom. Our room had a little sitting area with outlets, a seat and a mirror! So simple, but amazingly hard to find. I'm not sure what the other hotels think you can do with a 2 foot cord 5 feet away from a mirror. Otherwise this hotel was very comfortable, has great restaurants but is also near to other choices (fast food) as well. Would visit again.
Stayed here on a business trip 17/07/19 and will not be back! Noise from the Boy Racers cars at the petrol station all night, Curtains ripped off the runners, bathroom needing gutted, just an all round terrible night with hardly any sleep! Light streaming through the curtains at 4.30am (see photos). Couldn’t wait to get out of the place and forgot my phone charger, (my fault) but being told that someone would call me back later when the cleaners where in and then having phoned back 6 times over a three day period to be eventually told it wasn’t there! Not the best off services! Folks. Spend €10 more and get a decent place locally to put your head down! Disgraceful! One upside, I don’t have to go back!
