Another great visit.

This was our third visit to this property. The position is excellent, near the village, the harbour, the market and cycle tracks. The garden has attractive trees and the pool is warm with a good outside shower too. The interior is slightly quirky, which we like, and the Conservatory is a great area for eating. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and there were plenty of tv and music options. The one problem we had was speedily dealt with. The annexe in the garden is ideal, if one couple in a group would like some privacy.

Beautiful house and pool in fabulous position. A few too many personal possessions and food left in freezer and on shelves.

No TV/cable, no oven

Sadly there was no working TV or satellite at all during our 10 day stay. We were told it had not worked for over 3 weeks but nothing had been done about it. Sadly we couldn’t watch the Olympic Games and it rained a lot. There was no working oven either which was very boring and we were told this needed a specialist electrical engineer which was impossible to organise. The internet was also down and although this was fixed pretty quickly we again found out there had been constant issues. Frankly for the amount of money we paid we really feel that the response was lacklustre and uninterested with no effort made to fix the problems. It’s an absolutely gorgeous villa, with a lovely garden and pool and it’s perfectly located in the village if a little tired. It was disappointing to have such an unhelpful response given the cost of the villa.

Stayed here for a week and really really enjoyed it. Il-de-Re is beautiful and this house was great. It was really close to the marina and shops but felt really private and peaceful as it was enclosed in a walled garden with lovely grass and trees. The swimming pool was great and there was a separate summer house in the garden with a lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Overall, would not hesitate to recommend Il-de-Re and this beautiful, characterful house.

La maison correspond à la description, avec un intérieur à la déco rustique mais avec tout le confort nécessaire et un emplacement pour la voiture. Au calme sans vis-à-vis tout en étant en plein centre, tout à pied ou à vélo. Gros coup de cœur pour l'extérieur entièrement clos, idéal avec notre loulou.
