Spring break in Taos

We had a very relaxing week. The home was clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed the front and back patio areas. Location was convenient to hikes off the road to Taos ski mountain. Would definitely stay again!

Texas Winter Vacay

If you want to stay in an amazing house that includes everything you could ever think of and everything you didn't even imagine, this is your house! Beautifully decorated inside and out in a lovely residential neighborhood close to Ski Valley. We arrived to a perfectly prepared house with humidifiers turned on, lights etc. for our arrival. Owners and property management are amazing and responsive.

Wonderful stay at a great location

Casa De Dos Alamos was a great home in a wonderful location. It was ideally located in between the Taos Ski Valley and the town of Taos, allowing us the flexibility in dining with great access to the slopes. The house was EXTREMELY well appointed. It had everything that we could have possibly need.....even a meat thermometer! We are the type of guests that bring anything that we think we may need, from a coffee maker to humidifier.....to a meat thermometer. We could have left everything at home during out stay at Casa De Dos Alamos.....they had it all! Thank you and we hope to visit your beautiful home again in the future!

Post Christmas Ski Vacation

We were a group of parents, 2 adult kids and 3 young adult friends (and dogs). House was perfect for the group. Everyone had their space. House was well-stocked and had very clean. Well-located with a short drive up to the Ski Valley and a short drive into Taos for shopping and dining. House was a bit hard to find arriving after dark with a missing street sign and no moonlight, but Property Manager was able to steer us in the right direction quickly.

Excellent home for awesome family holiday

We met our adult children and their spouses, who live in Denver, for the Christmas holiday week. We live in Dallas so this was a good meeting spot plus we love Taos. The house was just perfect, enough space for everyone although one set of the group had to sleep in bunk beds , but didn’t mind. It was clean and well stocked with any and everything needed. The hot tub was awesome and we made an outdoor fire and stargazed. There were plenty of towels and a fun cocktail machine and I just can’t say enough about the wonderful time we had. The host is quick to communicate and answer any questions and give info as needed. The area was located about 15 min from the ski area and 20 min to downtown Taos. We also enjoyed the cute little town of arroyo Seco which was 1.5 miles away. We had lovely morning walks on the quiet dirt road and met some friendly neighbors . Hopefully we will be back !

Perfect getaway!

The photographs do not do this place justice. The home was absolutely beautiful as was the surrounding property. From the hot tub under the stars to the outdoor fireplace, it was all relaxing, rustic and peaceful outside along with being modern and well stocked inside. The only reason that the “Location and neighborhood“ section got four stars instead of five was because we were on motorcycles, which was difficult to navigate the last 100 yards on a gravel road. Otherwise, absolutely perfect!

Labor Day Weekend 2024

We had a GREAT stay! We noticed many, many details that made our stay very comfortable! I especially loved the front courtyard and backyard that both had water features, aspen and flowers along with comfy seating. The inside was beautifully decorated and has very nice appliances.

This is our second stay, and we were very disappointed that we were unable to book a third stay in the spring as the property is already fully booked up. The house has every amenity, it is laid out very nicely. Bryan is very responsive!

this home was perhaps the best equipped/stocked vacation rental I've been to. The king beds were super comfortable and the kitchen/dining/living made family gatherings and meals easy and memorable.

Excellent Home!!!

What a great home and property for our family of 4. The owners have thought of everything and then some. Home was extremly clean. Easy drive to go ski and easy drive to go in town. The backyard fire place for smores and hot tubbing in the snow was our favorite! The ponies across the road loved our attention and was a fun bonus for the kids! If we are ever back to Taos, hands down, we will rent this home again. I wish all VRBO's could be as stocked and equipped as this home.

Nice home in arroyo seco

We stayed here for a long Labor Day weekend holiday. The house was very clean and well appointed, the grounds are very nice, and check in / check out was easy. The house is located just north of arroyo seco about halfway between Taos and the ski valley, so it’s very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

gorgeous home Arroyo Seco

Casa de Dos Alamos is an absolutely beautiful home; it was as if we were staying at our own very private resort. We had a party of six (five adults and a 3 y/o), and the three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms was essential. Almost every detail was attended to. The house is situated on a private dirt road but readily accessible otherwise. It is clearly marked and easy to find on Maps. It was very warm in the area (late July) but the house remained at a comfortable temperature. Every night there was a wonderful breeze; I was hoping for that, being so close to the canyon leading to Taos Ski Valley. The last night it rained! Wonderful! Each bedroom is well appointed; two masters with en-suite bathroom, and a third bedroom with full size (queen size?) bunks and adjacent half bath. Laundry room and two-car garage, gorgeous, high-end dream kitchen with walk-in pantry, and huge living area with extra deep-seated leather furniture. The only things I could have wished for were an iron (there was an ironing board but no iron), and a wall-mounted makeup mirror. Lovely windows and doors, most with screens so that they could be opened to let in the cooler air, and honeycomb window coverings. We couldn't find the trash bags at first but communication with the property manager resolved that. Overall, a wonderful, relaxing, perfect stay in Taos area. If you choose this place, you will not be disappointed!

Beautiful well stocked home.

The house was very clean and in a great location to access Ski valley and hiking trails. If you like hiking we recommend hiking to Williams Lake. It was truly beautiful! After hiking we relaxed in the hot tub and then made s’mores in the outdoor fireplace. It was really helpful to have a fenced yard for the dogs. The owner was quick to respond to any needs and the house is well stocked with anything you may need. There are a few shops and restaurants a short drive away. We highly recommend this home.

Very Relaxing Stay

This property was great! We have stayed in many vacation homes over the years and this home is by far the most fully stocked home we have ever stayed in. The views of the mountains are beautiful and area is very quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

Best Casa Ever!

June 2023. This property is everything they say it is. Nicely stocked. Very nice dinnerware and high end appliances. Rooms are big. Beds are comfortable. Lots of high quality fixtures and features. The Jetted tub was amazing! Large windows and lots of natural lighting. Our 2 dogs loved the enclosed front and back yard. Just a lovely oasis to stay after a busy day of adventure. The mountain storms come and go in June. Host are very good to work with. We had absolutely no problems at this property. Very high quality home. Will stay again.
