"We spent 6 days at the cabin and resort for a family vacation. Communication from Jay the manager was excellent and he was on site often to check in. The cabin is definitely small and rustic as listed, the shared bathroom house and showers were near the cabin and clean and well appointed(shampoo, soap, towels) all available. The lake was very clean and quiet, with not much boat traffic at all, which made kayaking and swimming nice. Fishing was great, a lot of nice bass, pike, and some panfish. Their was a huge community deck with grill and supplies that was great to use, however it could have been cleaned as it was somewhat neglected. The location was great as it's close to Ely, Tower, and BWCA. We didn't go to BWCA but did some day trips to Bear Head state Park (very nice lake) and hiking trails to nearby waterfalls and lakes. Cabin does not have interior doors on bedrooms, but use curtains between so privacy is minimal, doorways are low, this could have been more clear in description but it was functional for us. Overall, a great place for the price and wonderful to relax, fish, swim, and checkout local sights, paddling, biking, etc."
